JConcepts 817 series front scoop

JConcepts has introduced a front aero item for the popular and successful HB Racing 817 1/8th off-road buggy platform. The front scoop replaces the front nose-cone on the vehicle with a front wing design that has shown to produce enhanced steering characteristics and increased feel and sensitivity in the larger sweeping sections while helped jumping attitude in tricky jump sections of the track. The front scoop is usable with the D817 and E817 series buggies includes two pieces per package so a driver has enough to outfit their nitro and e-buggy with the same package.

Jörn Neumann teams up with Hiro Seiko

Hiro Seiko have announced the addition of Germany’s Jörn Neumann to their team. The multi-time national and international champion will be using Hiro Seiko’s lightweight screws to lower the weight of his Schumacher and SWorkz cars and he has the following to say:

Samix TRX-4 rear shock plates

Following the release of Samix’s front shock plates the Asian company also has respective rear plates available for Traxxas’s TRX-4 trail truck. The items are machined from high-quality aluminium and sport six different shock mounting locations, ensuring that even complex suspension setups are accessible. The shock plates are available with a silver, gun metal or black anodised finish and they are a direct fit.

Wrap-Up Next drift car carbon fibre brake disc set

Japanese company Wrap-Up Next has introduced a set of mock-up carbon fibre brake discs for 1/10th scale drift cars. The set includes two vented-design 34mm carbon fibre brake discs, adapters, spacers and mounting material. Using the set will make for a more realistic appearance and all items are also available separately for spares or repair.

Highest CR900 monster truck & rock crawler servo

Highest have introduced their all-new CR900 standard-size servo for monster truck and rock crawler applications. The high-voltage compatible servo pulls up to 23kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.12s. Mike Bellotti wins at Independence Day club race

Mills Pond RC Speedway of Fort Lauderdale, Florida held their Independence Day club race yesterday. In the 1/8th scale E-Buggy class it was Daniel Chavez who set the pace in qualifying to take the overall TQ for the class. At the start of the A-main Daniel got the holeshot while P2 after the qualifiers, Mike Bellotti got cleaned out pretty good, although luck was on his side and still allowed him to get through un-marshaled. Mike was in P2 behind Daniel and Mike buckled down and turned clean laps waiting in the strike zone to make a move. Dan had a bobble allowing Mike to get around him and basically go unchallenged to the end of the main. Daniel would come in 2nd a lap down after the 10-minute main as Alex Maclellan rounded out the top 3 results.

RC-Cox touring car body height adjusters

Coming from PPM RC Racing are the new RC-Cox touring car body height adjusters. The set included four 6mm inner diameter aluminium thread sections and four height adjustable alloy platforms that allow to finely tune body height and rake. The platforms are rubber retained to ensure the setting stays the same over time and the set is available in orange, red and black colour including mounting hardware.
