T-Works roll out R12 optionals

Coming from T-Works and made for ARC’s new R12 mid-motor touring car are several option parts. First up is a 7-piece titanium turnbuckle set as a direct replacement for the kit’s standard links. Machined from 64 grade titanium the turnbuckles are both lightweight and strong, reducing the car’s overall weight while adding visual impact. Included comes a suitable turnbuckle for easy link building and adjustment.

Fenix Classique CT2 Formula body shell

Fenix have introduced their Classique series CT2 12-cylinder Formula body shell. Back in the good old days 12-cylinder engines were the hot ticket and for the 1967 season, several teams made use of them. Fenix now recreated one of the popular designs with the new Classique CT2 body shell sporting a highly detailed 12-cylinder engine with matching exhaust system. The lid is moulded from clear high-quality polycarbonate material and it fits Fenix’s wingless Formula chassis and it is available from now on.

Xtra Speed Astute hex adapter rear driveshafts

Coming from Xtra Speed and made for Tamiya’s vintage Astute 2WD buggy is a hex adapter rear driveshaft set. The kit includes new wheel axle shafts, 12mm hex adapters, and dogbone driveshafts with the whole assembly allowing for easier use of common 12mm hex rims. All parts come with a black surface coating for wear protection and looks.

Schumacher Cat L1 Evo layshaft lockout conversion

Schumacher’s new layshaft lockout conversion for the Cat L1 Evo reduces the rotating mass and the overall weight of the car. It incorporates a slipper lock out and is great for stock racing where maximum acceleration is required. The set includes a super lightweight titanium layshaft and fixing screw as well as 71T and 76T slipper lockout spur gears.

Serpent SRX Gen3 aluminium servo levers

Serpent have released a new optional part for the SRX2 Gen3 Spyder buggy in the form of clamping-style aluminium servo levers. Replacing the standard plastic piece increases strength and rigidity giving a more direct feel. They come anodised in Serpent grey for a sleek look and come with both 23T and 25T splines.

Exotek TLR 22 stand-up MM gearbox swaybar mounts

Exotek have introduced their new swaybar mounts for the TLR 22 3.0 to 5.0 using the stand-up MM gearbox. The machined aluminium posts allow mounting of the TLR 22 laydown sway bar set onto the 3-gear or 4-gear stand up gearbox via the wing mounts and they come in handy especially on street eliminator cars. The set includes a pair of black anodised aluminium posts and mounting hardware.

Team Associated RC8B3.2 FT arm inserts

New from Associated Electrics’ Factory Team brand are optional carbon fibre inserts for the Team Associated RC8B3.2 suspension arms. The 1.2mm thick carbon fibre inserts replace the stock plastic inserts and offer improved stiffness and a clean Factory Team look. Available are front lower arm, rear lower arm and front upper arm inserts for the RC8B3.2 and B3.2e suspension arms 81434, 81438, and 81442.

Ielasi Tuned introduce new O.S. based engine line

Ielasi Tuned have introduced their new O.S. based nitro engine line. The range will include the GP9 .21 on-road, GP5 GT 1/8th GT, DIRT! off-road as well as the GP3 .12 on-road engine all of which build on selected O.S. Engines motors that will receive personal treatment by former IFMAR World Champion, Daniele Ielasi himself. Full details on all engines will become available very soon.
