Duratrax have introduced their new Punch and Six Pack 1/8th buggy tyres. The Punch is ideal for loose, hard-packed wet and damp clay tracks while the Six Pack tread works on pavement, grass and hard-packed dry tracks. All are available unmounted or mounted on white dish, black spoke or black chrome spoke wheels in soft C2 compound and including suitable foam inserts.
Duratrax are busy adding more new tyres to their already extensive range with the introduction of several types for 1/16th scale trucks. The tyres come mounted on stylish 8-spoke black or black-chrome rims, or unmounted with foam inserts included. All are moulded in soft C2 compound, sold in pairs and packaged in re-usable plastic bags. The pre-mounts are available for kits such as the E-Revo, Summit and Savage XS Flux with the tyres also fitting standard 2.2″ buggy rear rims.
Duratrax have introduced new front and rear tyres for the HPI Racing Baja 5B large scale buggy. Available are four front tread patterns and five rear designs, including a paddle rear tyre just for sand. All are moulded in CS sport compound for long-lasting performance, they sold in pairs and packaged in re-sealable plastic bags. The tyres come unmounted only, with foam inserts included and also available separately.
Coming soon from Duratrax is the 32-tip multi-driver tool. It includes 32 of the most needed tips for RC vehicles and utilises a blue anodised aluminium handle that holds 15 short-shank, double-tip bits while another bit stores in the “in use” position. It comes with nine tip options for Torx screw heads and the bit shanks lock onto the adjustable-length shaft with a push, for easy attachment and release. The sizes are clearly marked on each bit and a rotation of the handle’s end cap remove the one that is needed. The no-roll design keeps the multi-driver in place and beside the Torx-tipped bits the wrench also includes an array of slot and hex bits.
Hobbico have introduced the Duratrax Onyx 260 touch screen charger and two new LiPo battery packs. Starting with the charger, the dual output device is usable with AC and DC input and it offers up to 6A of charge current. The 60W charge power on each output allows to use the charger with up to 6S LiPo and 15-cell NiMH battery packs and the 3.2 inch touch screen helps to program up to 10 battery charging routines, and to view data in numerical form or as colour graphs. The Onyx 260 will hit stores soon.
Hobbico have introduced the Onyx 255 dual output AC/DC balancing charger. It can peak charge a 15-cell NiCd at the same time it’s balance charging a 6S LiPo with push-button menu operation and 10-battery charging routines. Two reverse-backlit LCDs makes reading the eight types of pack/cell data and safety alerts a breeze even when lighting conditions are at their worst. Two independent 60W power supplies make for up to 6A of charge current per channel and the package is rounded out by an assortment of charge adapters.

Hobbico have introduced the Duratrax Onyx 225 AC/DC balancing charger. It arrives with ten charging routines already in memory for ease, but also gives the power to customise any one to specific charging needs. A 2-line, 16-character LCD with a reversed, backlit screen makes it easy to check the status of every battery operation, from initial setup to full, final charging. Its 60W output power allow for up to 6A charge current with 1S to 6S LiXX or 1 to 15 cell NiXX batteries and the compact unit comes including an array of charge lead adapters.

Coming from Duratrax are several new tyres and pre-mounts for 1/8th and 1/10th off-road vehicles. First up are the pre-mounted Lockup 1/8th buggy tyres. The proven sport performance tyre is now available on a new black-colour multi-spoke rim that is also up for grabs separately in 4-piece packages. The wheel for 17mm wheel adapters fits pretty much every modern 1/8th off-road buggy and the pre-mounts are available in the popular C2 tyre compound.
