New From East Coast Bodies are these new half-painted 1/8th scale buggy bodies that give you the style of a pro paint job with minimum effort. The color scheme shown is already painted on the bodies, so just spray on a single color of your choice and you’re done. These first three styles fit the Hot Bodies D8, Associated RC8 and the Tamiya 801 buggies.
Seen back in October at prototype stage during the opening round of the Euro Touring Series, East Coast Bodies have released the production version of their LCG LiPo chassis for the Tamiya TRF416WE. Developed and tested by Toni Rheinard, the set features a seperate 2.25mm carbon chassis and 45g battery tray that slots into the chassis keeping the weight low down in the car. The chassis will be sold under East Coast Bodies’ Prodrive Performance Series brand.
East Coast Bodies have released their new ‘Alpha design series’ 1/8 Off Road body shells, starting with this version for the World Champion Hot Bodies D8 buggy. The new ‘Alpha’ design D8 shell features improvements to the top end of the body with a low curve which give you a much smoother handling together with a newly implemented ‘Vortex Generator’ that provides a great look and actually improves downforce at high speed and on jumps.
East Coast Bodies have released their latest shell, this time for the Durango DEX410, which they claim is an improvement in design over the original. The addition of the supplied front wing helps keep the front end on the ground when under power, while at the rear of the re-profiled main cockpit a kick up in front of the wing improves the jumping by making it more controllable in the air. The rear wing has also had some work with the bottom side featuring 3 new channels for air flow which again helps the car in high speed jumps.
East Coast Bodies have released new wheels and tires as part of their Blast Off series. These new wheels are suitable for 1/10th scale off road trucks and sport a dual spoked design with ‘Bling’ style finish. The wheels are available separately or as pre glued with rubbed tires for the front and spiked tires for the rear.
East Coast Bodies now offer fully painted version of their popular Speed 6 spec 09 190mm body shell. Following on from their half painted versions released 2 weeks ago, this new version is complete and perfect for the beginner who wants to get on the track as quickly as possible and with as little effort as possible. The Speed 6 shell sports nice flowing black, grey and white lines and has been backed with a bright yellow for a great look and comes supplied with 3 different types of rear wing together with the wing end plates.
East Coast Bodies now offer their 1/10th 200mm body shells, the Access 2.8 and Sciricco models, in half painted versions. ECB have taken the effort out of painting and mounting the body, by supplying the shell pre trimmed meaning you only need to back it with a single colour to complete the great carbon fibre layout with sharp orange look. This series of bodies has been made using new super-PC material which gives the body longer life, makes it last longer, more flexible and have less damage. Both bodies are supplied with a decal sheet, window mask as well as 3 different types of rear wing together with the wing end plates.
East Coast Bodies have released this radical looking new 1/8th scale on road shell. This new P908 body is apparently the result of 2 years of design and testing to improve and enhance every detail and claims to improve the overall performance of the car. East Coast have also developed 3 type of new 1/8 on road rear wing in order to provide more optional rear grip, high speed and something in between.
