Fenix Racing have introduced an aluminium main chassis for the recently released Fast Forward FF7.2F TC7.2 conversion kit. The chassis was developed in cooperation with Fast Forward and it comes in handy in all high-traction racing conditions as the reduced flex and higher weight compared to the standard carbon fibre chassis will help with overall performance in high to very high grip racing conditions.
Fast Forward from Austria have released first information on their new FF7.2F front-wheel drive conversion kit for the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car. The set will allow to convert the 4WD TC7.2 into a FWD touring car with the overall design offering a very centralised weight balance for improved cornering thanks to front-mid motor location, a new rail-type steering and a mid-ship mounted main gear and layshaft. Included in the kit will be the 2.25mm carbon fibre main chassis, 2.0mm carbon fibre upper deck, 3.5mm rear shock tower, a 7075 alloy servo mount, all steering components, front battery tab, diff pulley spacer as well as the belt, and nuts and bolts. Required for the conversion are a Team Associated TC7.2 kit as a donor car or the respective missing suspension and drivetrain parts. The FF7.2F is available for pre-order now and it will become available from mid-November.
