Hipex have introduced their new EFRA 2115 Evolution tuned pipe for .21 on-road engines. Developed in cooperation with Daniele Ielasi and Andrea Pirani the exhaust will improve performance in the lower RPM range while also increasing top end power and it is best used with Novarossi or O.S.-based engines.
Hipex have introduced their new EFRA2695 exhaust pipe for .12 nitro on-road engines. The 2-chamber exhaust was developed for the use with Novarossi engines and it is recommended for all track styles. Hipex recommends to use their 12 305 manifold for optimised performance.
Just announced from Hipex is their new EFRA 2135 Evo3 exhaust pipe for .21 engines. The EFRA-homologated 3-chamber pipe is an alternative to the 2135 Evo2 and features a different position of the pressure intake, resulting in optimised fuel consumption. The exhaust is best used in combination with the Hipex 21 L50 manifold.
2014 IFMAR 200mm Nitro Touring Car World Champion Alexander Hagberg will continue to use Orcan and Hipex products in his 2015 campaign, the Swede announced. Alex’ 2015 race calendar sees appearances at the Euro Nitro Series, the EFRA Euros and the Swedish Cup events and Alexander has the following to say:
After the big success with our IFMAR WC title in 2014 we decided to continue our successful co-operation which means that I will be using Orcan engines, Hipex mufflers, Orcan fuel and accessories also for the 2015 season. Hipex have released this low noise 4-chamber EFRA homologated pipe for .12 engines, the only pipe able to effectively get down to the 90 dB level. After extensive testing this is the first effective solution for tracks in trouble for excessive noise without sacrificing performance. The noise reduction is equal to 6 dB and together with the INS box the noise goes down even further without loss of performance. This pipe is a standard in Dutch Nationals and has been used with much success with many satisfied racers. Must be used with the dedicated manifold CL120036 that ensures the correct assembly on your 1/10 car.
