Teemu Leino continues with Team HB for 2014

HB / HPI Racing have announced that Teemu Leino will continue to represent Team HB for 2014 and will apply his versatile skills to both their on and off road racing platforms. ‘We look forward to a great year ahead with the Finnish ace, plus some more exciting developments just around the corner for the World Championship winning Team HB!’. Teemu had this to say:

I look forward to 2014 racing season with many exciting race meetings to coming up. I feel HB/HPI Racing gives me best package of full range racing cars in all my different racing categories. I would like to thank Tatsuro Watanabe, Hiroyuki Kasuya, Masayuki Miura, Takashi Miyashita, Torrance Deguzman and all my team mates.

Ty Tessmann re-signs with HB/HPI for 2014

HB/HPI Racing have announced that Ty Tessmann has re signed with Team HB/HPI Racing for the 2014 RC racing season. After a successful 2013 season which included winning ROAR National Championships and a podium spot at the IFMAR World Championships, Ty and Team HB/HPI Racing is looking forward to an even better 2014. Ty had the following to say:

I am very excited to re sign for another year with HB/HPI Racing, we have had a very exciting and successful 2013 season and have made some innovative progress with Torrance Deguzman and the rest of the HB/HPI Racing team. I am looking forward to more developments and more exciting results in 2014. I would like to thank Tatsuro Watanabe, Hiroyuki Kasuya, Torrance Deguzman and the rest of the HB/HPI Racing team for their support in 2013 and look forward to working with them again in 2014.

HPI Baja 5B SS 2014 kit

HPI introduce the 2014 Baja 5B SS large scale gas off-road buggy. The latest incarnation of HPI’S iconic 1/5th scale kit features many performance and durability enhancing features such as new heavy-duty aluminium front wheel hubs, an aluminium tuned pipe with steel header, 1-piece rear hub carriers and super heavy duty driveshafts, diff shafts and axles. All of the above adds to the already included options parts and accessories such as a 26cc gas engine, 8000 RPM clutch, sway bars, alloy diff case, a pre-cut clear body, SFL-10 metal gear steering servo and the gunmetal anodised main chassis. As usual with HPI SS range of vehicles the Baja 5B SS comes as kit, leaving you with the joy of building the 817mm long bad boy.

HPI R10 26T alloy belt pulley

HPI Racing introduce a new option part for the R10 200mm nitro on-road car in the form of an optional belt pulley. The part is designed to give another tuning option for the drivetrain as it will replace the standard 25T pulley with a slightly larger one, slowing down the front wheels in relation to the rear one in order to fine-tune the car. CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium the pulley comes laser-etched for easy identification.

Hara confirmed at HB/HPI through 2016

Team HB/HPI Racing have announced that 2012 Triple World Championship Podium Finisher and former World Champion Atsushi Hara will continue with Team HB/HPI Racing through the 2016 RC racing season. After an amazing 2012 season with strong podium finishes at all 3 World Championship Events, Atsushi is looking forward to an even better 2013 season. Atsushi Hara will be campaigning the HB TCXX, R10 and D812 platforms for the upcoming season. Here are a few words from Atsushi Hara:

I am very happy to re-sign for Team HB/HPI Racing through the 2016 racing season. I have spent the majority of my Professional RC Driver career at HB/HPI Racing, signing my first contract in 2001, over 11 years ago. I am looking forward to adding more title wins in the coming years and to also contribute to the growth of HB/HPI Racing.

HB TCXX optional chassis & top deck

HB HPI Racing have released a new optional chassis and top deck for the TCXX touring car. The optional main chassis is slightly thinner than standard, while the optional 2.0mm upper deck is 0.5mm thinner than standard. The new parts give you the option to fine tune the car’s flex to suit your driving style.

HB R10 1/10th 200mm racing kit

The car that TQ’d the recent World Championships, the HB R10 is the latest kit from the minds at HB-HPI to enter the exciting and fast world of 1/10th scale on-road touring car racing.
