Joao Figueiredo Ielasi-powered for 2018 and beyond

Ielasi Tuned have announced the signing of Portuguese 1/8th off-road frontrunner Joao Figueiredo to their team for the 2018 season and beyond. The Kyosho driver will use Ielasi Tuned nitro engines at all major national and international races and he has the following to say about the deal:

I’m super happy to be part of Ielasi Tuned family! I have to thank Daniele Ielasi for giving me this opportunity of driving his powerful and smooth engines for the next years. Ielasi Tuned Nitro21WC & Nitro12WC US Edition engines

Coming from Ielasi Tuned are two new engines in the form of the Nitro21WC US Edition and the Nitro12WC US Edition. Both are based off of their respective WC Edition counterparts, with whom they share their outer setup, but they have been renamed after the recent tests in the U.S. that saw some internal updates to further increase the performance of the .21 1/8th and .12 1/10th Touring engine.

Wallace Motorsports sign Chris Verano

Wallace Motorsports have announced the signing of multi-time ROAR US National finalist and top California racer Chris Verano to their nitro on-road team for 2018. Chris will begin his racing season campaigning the WRC GTX 1.3, Ielasi Tuned engines and Hot Race tyres through out California and abroad. He brings years of industry and racing experience to the table and will be an asset for supporting and helping grow the Wallace brand out west. Chris had this to say about the new venture:

Ielasi Tuned GT9 & GT5 nitro engines

Ielasi Tuned have introduced their all-new Nitro GT9 and updated Rally GT5 nitro GT and Rally Game engines. Starting with the GT9, the power plant is based on the Nitro.21-9WCE and it features a new cooling head, a new crankcase and tuned 14.5mm crankshaft for optimised performance. It was designed for the use with 16 percent to 25 percent nitro fuel and it comes with an aluminium venturi insert set. As for the GT5, the engine comes with a redesigned cooling head, 14mm turbo-tuned crankshaft and a ceramic rear ball bearing. The Novarossi-based engines come pre-run-in and are made from selected and modified parts, ensuring best possible performance.

Joey Sorber returns to Ielasi Tuned

Ielasi Tuned have announced the return of Dutch top driver, Joey Sorber, to their factory team. Joey will use the company’s latest Nitro.21-9WCE on-road engine in the upcoming season at national and international races while also giving track-side technical support to Ielasi Tuned customers.

Ielasi Tuned Nitro.21 9WCE & Nitro.12 WCE engines

Ielasi Tuned have introduced two new engines, the Nitro.21 9WCE 9-port on-road and the Nitro.12 WCE 2.1cc touring car engine. Both are based on Novarossi power plants, they feature WIB ceramic and steel bearings, hand-tuned ultra light pistons, hand-tuned sleeves and crankshafts and they are assembled by Daniele Ielasi himself to ensure the best possible quality and performance. As usual all engines are built using modified and selected parts, allowing the customers to get their hands on the same engines as the factory team drivers.

Ielasi Tuned World Championship Edition .12 engine

Ielasi Tuned have introduced their all-new .12 nitro on-road engine. The World Championship Edition was created with the forthcoming 1/10th 200mm World Championship in Gubbio, Italy in mind and it features a special, lightweight conrod, a lightweight piston and lightweight crankshaft, all hand-modified by Daniele Ielasi himself. The Novarossi-based 2.11cc engine will hit the stores in the coming days.

Ielasi Tuned ITD.21-7CL Buggy & Sport on-road engines

Ielasi Tuned have introduced three new engines in the form of the ITD.21-7CL Buggy off-road and the .12 and .21 Sport on-road engines. Starting with the off-road engine, the ITD.21-7CL is a 7-port long-stroke engine with new carburettor and all-new 60mm cooling head as well as a 14mm crankshaft with red paste for improved mixture flow. The engine is available with standard steel or ceramic rear bearing. As for the .12 and .21 Sport on-road engines, both were developed with both the club racer and professional in mind. The Novarossi-based engines offer the highest quality for exceptional performance, high durability and easy of adjustment.
