Ielasi Tuned have announced the signing of US female racer Loran Whiting to their team. Loran will use the Novarossi-based Ielasi Tuned engines in her 2016 campaign that will include all major nitro on-road classes including 1/8th, 1/10th 200mm and 1/8th GT. Her first official outing with the new engines will be the 1/8th GT World Grand Prix Race in a couple of weeks time.

Ielasi Tuned have introduced the IDT.21-4CQ 4-port “square” engine. The company’s most powerful off-road engine so far is designed to offer great power at both low and high RPM while the 4-port setup makes for a linear power output and low fuel consumption. The engine comes with a R7 conrod which is machined from light aluminium and ultrasonic-checked for improved reliability. Other features include a selected and matched piston/liner assembly for best possible compression and durability while the carburettor used is a reverse-type Novarossi offering to provide high idle stability, precise tuning and higher mid to top range power. The package is rounded out by a new cooling head with etched Ielasi Tuned logo.
Ielasi Tuned, the brand of Italian frontrunner and former IFMAR World Champion Daniele Ielasi, has expanded their range of hand-tuned engines by four new 1/8th on-road, buggy and GT engines. Adding to the already available extra long stroke 9 and 3-ports on-road engines are two long stroke 9 and 7-port variants for 1/8th on-road applications. Also available now are the 4-port buggy and the 5-port, IFMAR-legal, rally/GT engine. All engines, except for the buggy variant, make use of the R7-16 conrod.

Italien frontrunner and former IFMAR World Champion Daniele Ielasi has introduced his new range of Ielasi Tuned engines in the form of the 9-port ITD.21 and the 3-port ITD.12. Both engines were built at Novarossi to his own specifications with the ITD.21 being an 1/8th scale engine based on the Novarossi Plus.21 crankcase and coming with the R7-16 conrod, a new design cooling head, and redesigned combustion camber insert.
