Trinity Products have announced details on the new Intellect IB4600 SHV cells. Featuring an all new internal construction, designed with safer application in mind, they feature an increased voltage of 1.24V and above. A much more stable cell, they are said to offer 50% more cycle life than previous versions, yet have the same specifications and dimensions of a normal cell. Available in limited quantities from May 16th.

Trinity have released these IB4600 battery packs, which are suitable for bashers and sport racers who are looking for maximum run time and punch, but don’t want to break the bank by purchasing matched cells. Made using Intellect cells, these packs include Tamiya style plugs to make them compatible with just about all RTR electric vehicles, and have the same dimensions as most sport battery packs, so they’ll fit perfectly without having to jam them in the battery tray.

Intellect will soon release the follow up to the explosive power of their IB4200 cells with the introduction of the all new IB4600VR-1. These new batteries not only provide longer run time than their predecessor but they will have been tested to ensure that they are stable and safe, and upon passing, the VR-1 cells will go on sale. Expect to see them available from your favourite cell matching company in the near future.
