2nd KM World Cup & Zac Cup – Announcement

KM Racing announce the second KM World Cup & ZAC Cup. The race will take place on this year’s IFMAR 1/8th nitro on-road track in Japan from the 30th of August to the 1st of September and is the last chance for competitors to hit the track before it will be closed until the World Championships. The race is run in 1/8th and 1/10th 200mm and open to any chassis brand. International stars such as Adrien Bertin, Meen V., Dario Balestri and Keisuke Fukuda already signed in. KM Racing front servo mount set

KM Racing introduce this complete front servo mount set for the H-K1 on-road car. The set is designed for the use with the MV-001 chassis and makes for equal steering characteristics in left and right hand corners due to the centreline mounting. Included are blue anodised servo mount parts and all needed hardware.

KM Racing H-K1 Meen V fuel tank upgrade

KM Racing H-K1 Meen V fuel tank

KM Racing have released this upgraded fuel tank for their H-K1 World Champion Meen Version chassis. The new tank sports a new spring for the lid as well as a new o-ring and internal filter. Also new for the tank is a plastic insert to adjust the tanks internal capacity.

KM Racing K8 1/8th scale prototype

KM Racing K1 1/8th scale photos

Having been shown CAD images of the new K8 1/8th scale chassis from KM Racing back in January, the 1/10th World Champions have shown off early photos of the car ahead of the World Championship warmup race later this month. The car is not finalised, with the aluminium remaining un-anodised for now but this is the car being assembled in Hong Kong by World Champions Fukuda & Vejrak and other team drivers ahead of some major testing.

KM Racing H-K1 D-type servo saver

KM Racing have released this optional servo saver for the H-K1. The new upper part of the saver has now been made of plastic in place of metal so it is now lighter on top while the bottom part uses a D-type mount in place of the original hex. Parts are available separately or as a complete set.

KM Racing H-K1 Meen version

World Champions KM Racing have released a Meen version of their H-K1 to commemorate their victory back in November. The full option kit will come with blue anodised aluminium bulk heads and the option of mounting the steering servo to the main chassis or top deck. Other included part include new high efficiency brake disk, rear body height adjusters, front anti-roll bar system, aluminium servo horns, full set of anti-roll bars and spur gears and will have the customers name engraved on the chassis plate. Available on April 8th.

Chavit Saligupta joins KM Racing

KM Racing announce that 2012 IFMAR 1/10 GP Touring Car finalist Chavit Saligupta has joined their team of talented racers. Chavit will run the KM H-K1 and K8 nitro on-road cars during his upcoming campaign that will include some major race events.

KM Racing sign double WC Adrien Bertin

World Champion manufacturer KM Racing have announced the signing of 2-time World Champion Adrien Bertin to their team. The French driver and man behind the Orion engine program will not only race for KM in both 1/10 and 1/8 categories but will also be helping with the development of the H-K1 the upcoming K8—Killer Eight. Adrien had this to say:

I am really pleased to join the World champion brand KM Racing as at first Kenny and Hang are my friends for a long time and it was just a matter of time for us to work together. I know how hard it is to create a new brand and make it successful and when I got the opportunity to help them for the 1/8 on road project, it became evident for me to jump into this new adventure. My experience with the J-max project will help a lot to be quickly competitive! KM’s facility and power of development are just amazing so it will be for sure a great feeling to get ready for the coming World championship and fight for the victory again! With Fukuda and Meen, we will be 3 World champions to take part in this new project and all our team work will help to establish KM Racing as the major brand in the on road nitro market. I am excited to be back on racing and will be more than happy to support KM customers all over the World. See you at the track!
