Coming soon from Kyosho is their new LDW aluminium rear bulkhead for the Ultima RB7 and RB7SS kits. Machined from high-quality alloy and coming in a dark anodised surface finish the part increases the overall stability and durability of the buggy’s rear end while offering three different inner camber link positions and a sturdy base to mount a rear anti-roll bar to. A white Kyosho logo makes for a professional appearance.

During this week’s 2020 Nuremberg International Toy Fair Kyosho have unveiled their all-new Mini-Z Suzuki Jimny Sierra and Toyota 4Runner ReadySet mini-size trail trucks. The combination of the highly-detailed bodies and a completely new 4×4 chassis design makes for a whole new level of mini-size rock crawling. The chassis with ladder frame and multi-link rigid-axle suspension commonly used in popular 1/10th scale off-road models, is condensed into Mini-Z size for huge articulation and performance. The chassis incorporates a ladder frame design with steel vertical plates, in combination with various moulded parts, to deliver the ultimate balance of rigidity and flex for superior performance and durability. Solid front and rear axles feature links with steel rods and captured rod ends. Ring and pinion gears, in addition to other gears and components, feature metal construction to withstand the heavy loads under the toughest driving conditions. The upper A-arms and lower links that connect the front and rear axles to the chassis, feature strong steel links and captured ball ends – an ideal design for strength, maximum range of motion, and smooth operation. In addition, the wheelbase can be changed to 110 or 120mm by changing the length of the spacer on the upper A-link.
Coming from Kyosho and made for the RB7 series of 2WD buggies are the new 2L aluminium steering bellcrank arms. The parts are 2mm longer than the existing UMW716 arms for an optimised steering geometry that makes for smoother initial steering and thus overall smoother cornering. The arms are machined from high-quality aluminium for precision and strength and they come anodised in a dark colour to match the remainder of the buggy’s optionals.

Coming soon from Kyosho are new drivetrain option parts for the Kyosho MP10 platform that were just announced by Kyosho’s own Yuichi Kanai on social media. The range will include new 42T differential and 12T input gears that will improve the buggy’s low speed agility. To make up for the changed internal gear ratio, Kyosho will also release a 45T main gear that will bring back top speed while also helping to settle the buggy on bumpy parts of the track, all while making for a somewhat softer characteristic at lower speeds, making the car easier to drive.
Available soon are new heavy duty front lower arms for Kyosho’s MP10 buggy. Sturdier than the stock arms due to additional ribbing, the heavy duty variants will come in handy when the going gets tough or when running in higher ambient temperatures or traction conditions where the arms can increase steering precision. Included come a left and a right hand arm and the sets are available in hard and soft variants to further fine-tune the front end feel.

Coming from Kyosho and made for their V-One R4 Evo.2 1/10th scale 200m nitro on-road kit is an all-aluminium driveshaft set. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming with a clear surface coating the alloy parts will greatly lower the overall weight and also the rotating masses, allowing for quicker spool-up and acceleration. The wheel axles feature several location holes for the cross pins, allowing to rebuild them a couple of time before they need to be swapped for new parts.

T-Works have introduced new Precision ball bearing sets for a range of 1/8th off-road kits. Utilising rubber and metal-shielded high-quality ball races the sets will reduce the natural drivetrain drag due to the metal inner shielding while the outer orange rubber seal offers exceptional protection against dust, dirt and moisture. The sets are available for the Team Associated RC8B3.1, Mugen MBX8/MBX8T and MBX8 Eco, the Kyosho MP10/MP10T/MP9 TKI4/TKI3 as well as the MP9E. Coming soon from Kyosho is the Inferno MP10 Spec A 1/8th nitro buggy roller. The pre-assembled kit out of Kyosho’s Spec A range is built by experienced staff and the kits are individually checked by Inferno designer Yuichi Kanai himself. Areas such as shock absorbers and diffs are built to very high standards to guarantee best performances as are details such as ride height and suspension geometry that all come pre-set and race-ready. On top of this the bodyshell is pre-cut, reducing preparation time significantly. Not included are accessories such as engine, electronics and tyres. As for the specifications the Spec A kit comes with the same features as the standard MP10 kit and it will hit the stores soon.
