LRP Vector X11 4T Brushless motor

LRP Vector X11 4T Brushless motor

We briefly mentioned yesterday that Nosram had released the 4 turn version of their Storm brushless motor, well today its the turn of sister company LRP to make the same announcement with the release of their Vector X11 4T modified brushless motor. As with the other low turn versions of this motor it features sintered rotors and the X11 utilises a sensored system that ensures the motor has the same linearity and smooth feeling as brushed systems.

The new 4.0T Vector X11 motor is the new 1/10 TC Modified Specialist and is used by LRP’s TC Modified Superstar Ronald Völker on most tracks. The 4.0T motors gives the advantage of nearly the same power as the 3.5T version but with a better efficiency.

Japanese firm Morotech have today released these new items for use with the new Corally RDX Phi touring car. First up is this rather cool looking, and very light, carbon fiber tool to aid in the adjustment of the differentials on the Phi. The forks on the tool go into the drive cups on the diff and allow you to check if its slipping or not by allowing you to turn the pulley while both ends of the diff are held from rotating. The other piece from Morotech are these diff seal protectors that come in a pack of 8 and are available for the 42T and the 36T diff pulleys.

As we all know excessive motor temperatures lower the efficiency and the power of a motor and can also lead to permanent damage so with this new offering from LRP you will see a considerable reduction in motor temperature during the race which keeps motor power up. Suitable for all 540-type motors, the set features a blue anodised heatsink and an oversized cooling fan to remove the heat.
