Mugen Seiki Europe MBX8R Premium Edition

Mugen Seiki Europe has announced a limited ‘Premium Edition’ of the MBX8R 1:8 Buggy platform in both nitro and electric versions. Exclusive to MSE and the European market, it is aimed at drivers who expect race-ready, durable performance and precise control straight out of the box. This exclusive special set includes, in addition to the standard kit, a selection of high-quality optional parts that noticeably improve handling, durability and serviceability, ideal for ambitious hobbyists and club racers. These options benefit the buggy by significantly improving robustness and longevity of key drivetrain and steering components. It also makes for better traction and more consistent power delivery under racing conditions.

Kurzbuch wins ENS Aigen

Mugen Seiki’s Simon Kurzbuch has won the second round of the Euro Nitro Series at the Aigen track in Austria. The reigning ENS Champion dominated qualifying with his MRX7 prototype topping all four rounds to secure the TQ ahead of Round 1 winner Toni Gruber. Former ENS 1:10 Champion Teemu Leino completed the Top 3 for Infinity with the Shepherd of last year’s race winner Lars Hoppe lining up P4 for the 45-minute final. In the final, Kurzbuch would be the only one to break into the 14-second lap times as he took the win by over 12-seconds from 1:8 GT World Champion Gruber – both drivers running the new ‘Piste’ engine from Ielasi Tuned. 2-laps down, Leino took the final step on the podium ahead of his team-mate Francesco Tironi with the ARC of Silvio Hachler completing the Top 5. In 1:10 Nitro Touring Car, Poland’s Jakub Rozycki made it two from two as he took the win from the TQ spot with Quentin Leroux and Christoph Rohrmoser joining him on the podium.

MSE MBX8R Carbon Arm Inserts | MSB1 Carbon Front Spoiler Mount

New from MSE Performance Parts in Germany come these carbon fibre arm inserts for the Mugen Seiki MBX8R 1:8 Buggy and a carbon fibre front spoiler mount for the MSB1 1:10 2WD Buggy. With front and rear arm options, the inserts are made from 3.0mm carbon fibre. The carbon fibre MSB1 front spoiler mount is a direct replacement for the plastic kit mount.

MSE MBX8R CFRP Option Parts

MSE Performance Parts in Germany have released new optional CFRP parts for the Mugen Seiki MBX8R 1:8 Buggy. All tested by Mugen Seiki team drivers Burak & Berkan Kilic, the range of parts includes an Upper Rear Wing Reinforcement Plate (CFRP), a Rear Wing Frame Reinforcement Plate (CFRP), a Rear Wing Mount Support (CFRP) and a Rear Upright Link Plate +5mm.

Sparbier takes Open Brushless TQ at TITC

Mugen Seiki’s Soren Sparbier is the Top Qualifier in the Open Brushless class at the TITC, the German taking the fourth & final qualifier of the Bangkok race’s largest class. With the opening three rounds of qualifying producing three different winners, it was all to play for in Q4 with Sparbier, who was fastest in yesterday’s third round, leading them away in the decider. From the front, the 18-year-old would edge out a 1.4-second advantage to top the round from Q1 winner Lukas Ellerbrock and Q2 winner Olivier Bultynck P3, this the order they will line up for the finals. Runner-up last year, Xray’s Adam Iszay starts P4 the first of the A-Main being run this evening at the Infinity RC Addict track.

MSE MSB1 +5mm CFRP Shock Towers

MSE Performance Parts Germany have released new optional CFRP Front and Rear Shock Towers for the Mugen Seiki MSB1 1:10 2WD Buggy. +5 mm wider than the original, they provide more stability on carpet and high grip tracks due to possibility to change the angle of the damper more steep. MSE also claim the new towers contribute to better control of the buggy during jumps, as well as faster steering and stability during rapid load changes.

Gollner joins Mugen Seiki Europe

Mugen Seiki Europe has announced top Austrian touring car racer Patrick Gollner will represent the Japanese manufacturer in 2025. A long time Xray driver, the European Championship finalist & 7-time Austrian National Champion will bolster Mugen Seiki’s European presence ahead of the release of its new MTC3 touring car which both Ronald Volker and up & coming US talent Jacob Cruz put into the final at the IFMAR World Championship in California back in November. On the announcement Gollner said, ‘First of all, I would like to thank Robert Pietsch and Ronald Völker for the opportunity to join Mugen Seiki Europe. I am extremely happy to be a part of the team from now on. After so many years in a different team, I am already looking forward to the new challenges and projects and to work closely with my new teammates. Full of motivation and with renewed ambition, I am now heading into the new season!’

Mugen MBX8R ECO 2-Piece Carbon Battery Box

Mugen Seiki Europe’s parts brand MSE Performance Parts has introduced a 2-Piece Carbon Battery mount for the Mugen MBX8R ECO 1:8 Electric Buggy. Machine from high quality carbon fibre, the mount fits two 2S lipo batteries and is a upgrade from the standard plastic mount that comes with the MBX8R ECO kit.
