Yokomo Mercury Sayaka Special S15 Drift body set

Known for its involvement, support and licensing of full size drifting, Japan’s Yokomo has released this Mercury Sayaka Special S15 Drift body set. Driven by popular female driver Sayaka Shimoda it is now available as a body for RC drifting. The wide form with powerful over fenders and the GT wing with aluminium stays create a racing atmosphere. Set includes clear lexan body and wing, aluminium wing stays, masking sheet, window decals, and logo decals although graphic decals are not included.

Ielasi Tuned GP5R24 1:8 GT engine

Italy’s Ielasi Tuned has a new 2024 version of its World Championship winning 1:8 GT .21 engine with the announcement of the release of the GP5R24. Used by their official drivers at the recent EFRA European Championship in Italy with excellent results, securing the TQ and getting 3 out of 3 drivers in the main final with Edoardo Repetti going on to finish in second place, the new engine features two fundamental components changes. A new exclusive Ielasi Tuned piston made by O.S. from Daniele Ielasi own design and new “R” reinforced O.S. conrod. Also improved is the crankshaft timing and the cooling head has also been enlarged while still maintaining lightness.

New from Hasi Tuned, the engine brand fronted by leading Swiss nitro racer Silvio Hächler, are these two different underhead options for .21 1:8 Onroad & 1:8 GT engines. They have a different shape especially designed for improved performance with new types of fuel. They offer a better fitting on Hasi Tuned & O.S. Engines sleeves with one specifically for 25% Nitro content fuel and one for 16% use.

Spiniello joins Ielasi Tuned engines

World and European Champion engine tuner Ielasi Tuned has announcement that Italian 1:10 200mm Nitro Touring stalwart Mario Spiniello is to represent their products. Excited to welcome Spiniello, who recently finished second at the Italian National Championships, to its team, he brings a wealth of experience and talent to Daniele Ielasi’s brand. The deal coincides perfectly with the upcoming EFRA 1:10 200mm European Championship in France from June 19-22 where he will use their latest GP3R24 engine together with their recently announced new pipe kit 2701. Commenting on the announcement Spiniello said, ‘First of all I want to thank Ielasi Tuned for giving me the opportunity to be part of their team, they immediately proved to be very helpful and great professionals. Yokomo RS1.0 1:10 Touring Car Ready-to-Run Set

Having released its entry level 1:10 Electric Touring Car the RS1.0 last year, Yokomo has announced it is to offer a Ready-to-Run Set of the car. As an RTR option RS, standing for ‘Rookie Speed’, is ideal for those who want to enjoy a fun and easy control radio-controlled car. With the RS1.0 Ready-to-Run set, the car is pre-assembled, the R/C equipment is installed and tuned, and the body is pre-painted,
so all you need to do is charge the batteries and you are ready to go. The chassis is the RS1.0, which has been well-received for its high performance, so it is high-spec enough to drive on circuits and participate in races. A steering gyro is also included to assist steering and prevent spinning in corners. A USB adapter charger is also included, so you can recharge the battery repeatedly and enjoy driving.

Something new for Team Associated B74.1/.2 1:10 4WD Electric Buggy are these Vented Heatsinking Slipper Plates from Team Brood. Specifically designed for the Decoupled Slipper Clutch and Standard 2 Plate Slipper Clutch, these advanced slipper plates bring enhanced performance, superior cooling, and consistent feel to your racing experience. The standard system includes front and rear plates, while the decoupled system features front and rear plates for the rear slipper system and a small rear plate for the front oneway slipper system. The front plate tube from the stock system remains in use for seamless integration. All Team Brood Racing slipper plates incorporate our IFMAR World Champion vented heatsinking design, ensuring optimal temperature control and preventing overheating. This design also effectively routes slipper pad dust out from between the plates and pads, reducing the risk of glazing and maintaining consistent performance. The slipper is available in three material options.
