JConcepts F2 body for Yokomo YZ4-SF

JConcepts have introduced the F2 body shell for the Yokomo YZ4-SF 4WD buggy. Designed with aspects learned from the original Finnisher bodies, the F2 provides an even more aggressive look with included details which remain crucial to performance. Increased windshield angle provides a steady force upfront during mid-flight wind gusts on large jumps while the forward cab placement changes the performance and visible bias which help steering rotation in low traction corners. The side-pods have been simplified to remove unwanted changes in height to neutralise the at-speed handling and the rear of the pods have a dual step, scoop treatment which give a first in class look to the F2 body. The rear of the cab has the Finnisher step feature which allows the placement of a secondary side window and also several louver options off the rear. In addition to the newly designed body, JConcepts has included two of the latest Aero S-type rear wings used by Ryan Maifield to win the IFMAR World Championships.

Xtreme Aerodynamics Diablo 1/8th body

After releasing a teaser last year, Xtreme Aerodynamics have finally introduced their latest 1/8th creation, the Diablo. After a long development carried out with some of the best drivers in the World, the Italian factory is now releasing a body that has already proven itself as highly performant in the hands of Simon Kurzbuch at the Guan You Sunpadow GP, and has received an EFRA homologation last month. The body will be available in the light (1mm) and ultra-light (.75mm) versions, and in pre-cut versions for several chassis.

Yokomo YD-2EXII RWD Drift chassis

Having taken top honours at the D1-10 World Championship in the Netherlands twice, the high-end RWD chassis kit YD-2EX has been improved for use on low traction surfaces and the Yokomo YD-2EXII will be released at the end of this month. The key feature of YD-2E series is the low centre of gravity for performing high speed drifting in any type of surface condition. Wanting to improve further Team Yokomo developed and tested new front steering blocks for more steering angle and wider tread and shorter lower arms for amazing traction on all surfaces and now these new parts come as standard. Also featuring new low friction shocks and graphite main chassis which enables the use any type of batteries released for 1/10 scale RC cars in a variety position.

Racing Performer RPG-302 V3 gyro

New from Yokomo under their Racing Performer brand is the RPG-302 V3 gyro. The conventional RPG-302 was well known for its balance and fast response as well as mild steering performance to achieve a realistic drifting angle. The new RPG-302 V3 now has a new feature, adjustable steering end point giving the possibility to adjust the steering limit for right and left independently. The look as also been updated with a new aluminium case with red anodised chamfered edges. Best suited for all type of RWD car, but can also work in AWD (4WD) cars.

A uniquely molded design, specifically developed for tire mounting, the rubber band is produced in a high-elasticity material capable of stretching to a full assortment of different sized tires. Hudy 2.5mm ejector pivot pin & alternating pivot

Hudy have introduced a 2.5mm ejector pivot pin and 2.5mm alternating pivot for use with Hudy’s drive pin replacement tool to replace 2.5mm drive pins in drive shafts in addition to previously available 3mm version. One of the leading causes of ill-handling cars comes from improperly working suspension caused by drivetrain binding. In cars of all scales it is important to check and regularly replace the drive pins before they wear flat. A worn pin can cause inconsistent handling and poor overall performance. It is well known that drivers in the past have gone to great lengths to either replace their pins frequently or incur the cost of replacing the compete drive shaft.
