Samix have introduced an aluminium portal knuckle cover set for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck. The metal covers will add about 17g of weight while increasing the overall rigidity and stability of the axles. In addition mounting holes allow to attach mock-up brake discs and rotors for a more scale appliance. The covers are available in black, grey or natural finish and they fit both the standard TRX-4 knuckles and also Samix’s own option parts.
Coming from VRP and made for the Tekno EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy are several new aluminium option parts. The range includes a front and rear 7075 aluminium shock tower, an aluminium front camber link plate and a battery strap. The front and rear shock towers are made out of 7075 grade aluminium and feature double beveled edges making them carpet and turf friendly. The front camber link plate and battery strap are also made from 7075 grade aluminium and feature a double re-opted look with silver edges to add that bling factor to the buggy.
Team Associated have introduced their new 2017 World T-shirt as it is worn by AE’s factory team at this week’s IFMAR 1/10th Off-road World Championships in Xiamen, China. The tee is made from 100 percent cotton material, it comes in black and with all-new front and rear graphics. The shirt is available from now on in S to 5XL sizes.
Kyosho Europe have announced the signing of Bryan and Oscar Baldo to their team. After a season with TLR and Horizon Hobby the two Spanish frontrunners have decided to change gear again and to go for Kyosho as their new home.

The opening round of the Xray Racing Series Poland was held in Lodz. The event took place in a newly-built sports hall and the track, laid out with EOS carpet and using new jumps, made for real EOS feeling. Bartlomiej Zambrzycki made a clean sweep in the 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes by taking the TQ and win in both at round 1. Bartosz Zalewski obtained the runner-up spot in 2WD from Jakub Luczak 3rd with the two swapping places in the 4WD ranking, handing Jakub the overall 2nd place from Bartosz 3rd.
Italian company Bittydesign has introduced their 2018 design anti-slip pit mat. It measures 510x410mm, is made of 2mm thick high-quality material and comes with an anti-scratch PVC coat on top to ensure durability, no matter if used for on-road or off-road wrenching. Coming from Team Losi Racing are new heavy duty carbon fibre shock towers for the 8ight 4.0 nitro and 8ight-E 4.0 E-buggy as well as the 8ight-T 4.0 nitro truck. The buggy front shock stay is machined from thick 5mm carbon fibre while the buggy rear tower and the two truck-specific items are cut from 4mm carbon fibre. They save about seven to 14 grams of weight compared to the stock parts and the buggy rear and truck front tower also offer additional tuning options for use on different track surfaces. The buggy-specific parts are usable on both the 8ight 4.0 and 8ight-E 4.0 while the truck parts are exclusive to the 8ight-T 4.0.

T-Works have introduced new aluminium centre driveshafts for the HB Racing D817 and RGT8 vehicles. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming with a black surface coating for wear and looks, the driveshaft dogbones are available as front variant for the D817 and RGT8, as rear variant for the RGT8 exclusively or as combo set, again exclusively for the RGT8.
