Pro-Line B64 Elite body shell

Pro-Line have introduced the new Elite body shell for the Team Associated B64 series of 1/10th scale 4WD buggies. The body features an overall low-slung design with sweeping lines throughout giving it an unmistakable look on the track. A cab-forward design with rails extending up the hood and A-pillar provides enhanced steering while a sloped centre fin balances out the rear of the car with great side-bite. The rear of the side pods feature outer ridges designed to lead air up to the included 6.5″ Air Force rear wing, maximising rear grip. The body is made of genuine Lexan material, it comes including two wings, window masks and a decal sheet.

Futaba 7PX 2.4GHz radio system – Teaser image

Futaba have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming 7PX 2.4GHz radio system. The top-of-the-foodchain radio will feature a 4.3 inch colour touch panel LC display, the telemetry-compatible T-FHSS SR Super Response transmitting system and it will come with a new diversity receiver for even greater signal transmission reliability. Exotek introduce new D216 CF & titanium options

Coming from Exotek and made for the HB Racing D216 buggy are a carbon fibre side rail set as well as titanium front axles and quick change shock mounts. Starting with the chassis rails, the set is made from high-quality 5mm carbon fibre material and it increases the stiffness of the chassis for sharper handling on all race surfaces. Attached to the chassis the parts also help to seal up the body when used with optional hook and loop straps. The kit also includes heavy duty alloy battery posts and steel hardware but the stock plastic LiPo holders can be trimmed down if it is preferred over the included alloy posts.

VP-Pro MP9 CF options & exhaust retainer set

VP-Pro have introduced two new option parts for the Kyosho MP9 series of buggies as well as an exhaust retainer set for all nitro-powered vehicles. Starting with the MP9 options, available are a carbon fibre front shock tower as well as a centre diff plate for electric-powered MP9 kits. All parts are made to match the kit specifications and they are cut from high-quality carbon fibre. As for the exhaust retainer, the set includes a new mounting spring as well as a machined clamp that prevents the exhaust pipe from coming loose in long mains and when running in bumpy track conditions. The mounting set is usable with most nitro on-road and off-road kits.

PR Racing sign Travis Amezcua

PR Racing have announced the signing of multiple US National Champion and Worlds finalist, Travis Amezcua to their factory team. The former Team Durango driver will use PR Racing’s line of cars during his upcoming campaign while also assisting with Research & Development of current and upcoming products.

RDRP B6 aluminium front bulkhead

Revolution Design Racing Products’ aluminium front bulkhead for the Team Associated B6 series of 2WD buggies was designed to replace the standard part with a more sturdy and durable item. The bulkhead comes machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium and its directional design allows to run 25 degree or 30 degree kick-up angle while the anodised surface and silver edge details add visual impact. The aluminium part adds rigidity and precision when the point gets tough and when racing on high-bite surfaces. The part fits both the B6 and B6D and it is available in black or blue anodising.

FX Engines B301 nitro engine – Teaser

FX Engines have announced the soon release of their new B301 nitro engine. No information about the power plant, that is believed to be a 3-port off-road engine, are available yet but all details on specifications and features should surface in time for the release.

Shepherd Velox V8 aluminium middle bearing block

Shepherd have introduced an updated aluminium middle bearing block for the Velox V8 WC and Simon Kurzbuch Edition kits. The updated bearing block sports an extension for the muffler spring mount, moving the respective mounting position away from the top deck, and by doing so, the part eliminates any unwanted influence on the flex characteristics of the radio plate. Made from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium the middle bearing block is part of a running change for all new kits and also available separately as direct replacement.
