Pro-Line Chevy Silverado & Guardian MT body shells

Pro-Line have introduced two new body shells for solid axle monster trucks. First up is the 2007 Chevy Silverado Extra Cab body. Capturing the unique design cues and details of the ’07 vehicle, the body is a direct fit for many stock and custom trucks and it comes including window masks and decal sheet. Also new is the SUV-style Guardian body with large side panels, that are making it easy to wrap it in your favourite full-size monster truck body scheme. Like the Silverado the body is made from genuine Lexan material and it comes including window masks and decal sheet.

IGT8 2017 1/8th nitro GT car kit

IGT8 have announce the release of the 2017 version of their high-performance IFMAR spec 1/8th nitro GT chassis. Updates include an optimised suspension geometry for less roll and more traction, harder suspension arms for less flex and increased response as well as a lighter and smaller transmission with 0.8 pitch. Also included in the kit are a lightweight high performance clutch bell for better acceleration and all features that were previously part of the IGT8 Red. The new car, a successor of the proven and aforementioned IGT8 Red, is expected to hit the market in May 2017.

Techra T4 battery mount system

Coming from Techra and made for the Xray T4 series of touring cars is a battery mount system. Utilising machined, L-shaped 7075-T6 aluminium brackets the mounts are designed to minimise chassis tweak while giving the option of using the supplied hook and loop strap or optional fibre-reinforced tape to hold down the battery pack. The brackets sport a 2-tone black and orange finish and included in the set is also suitable mounting hardware.

Mon-Tech Racing WR4 1/10th rally body shell

Italian company Mon-Tech Racing has introduced their new WR4 body shell for 1/10th rally cars. Made from touch 1mm polycarbonate the lid sports VW Polo-inspired contours and it comes with a 2-piece rear wing, window masks and a decal sheet and it fits most 190mm touring and rally car chassis.

Pro-Line B64 Elite body shell

Pro-Line have introduced the new Elite body shell for the Team Associated B64 series of 1/10th scale 4WD buggies. The body features an overall low-slung design with sweeping lines throughout giving it an unmistakable look on the track. A cab-forward design with rails extending up the hood and A-pillar provides enhanced steering while a sloped centre fin balances out the rear of the car with great side-bite. The rear of the side pods feature outer ridges designed to lead air up to the included 6.5″ Air Force rear wing, maximising rear grip. The body is made of genuine Lexan material, it comes including two wings, window masks and a decal sheet.

Futaba 7PX 2.4GHz radio system – Teaser image

Futaba have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming 7PX 2.4GHz radio system. The top-of-the-foodchain radio will feature a 4.3 inch colour touch panel LC display, the telemetry-compatible T-FHSS SR Super Response transmitting system and it will come with a new diversity receiver for even greater signal transmission reliability. We bring you more information on the radio as soon as they become available.

Exotek introduce new D216 CF & titanium options

Coming from Exotek and made for the HB Racing D216 buggy are a carbon fibre side rail set as well as titanium front axles and quick change shock mounts. Starting with the chassis rails, the set is made from high-quality 5mm carbon fibre material and it increases the stiffness of the chassis for sharper handling on all race surfaces. Attached to the chassis the parts also help to seal up the body when used with optional hook and loop straps. The kit also includes heavy duty alloy battery posts and steel hardware but the stock plastic LiPo holders can be trimmed down if it is preferred over the included alloy posts.

VP-Pro MP9 CF options & exhaust retainer set

VP-Pro have introduced two new option parts for the Kyosho MP9 series of buggies as well as an exhaust retainer set for all nitro-powered vehicles. Starting with the MP9 options, available are a carbon fibre front shock tower as well as a centre diff plate for electric-powered MP9 kits. All parts are made to match the kit specifications and they are cut from high-quality carbon fibre. As for the exhaust retainer, the set includes a new mounting spring as well as a machined clamp that prevents the exhaust pipe from coming loose in long mains and when running in bumpy track conditions. The mounting set is usable with most nitro on-road and off-road kits.
