Team Magic E5-series aluminium steering blocks

HRC Distribution have introduced Team Magic aluminium steering blocks and pivot ball mounts for the E5 and E5HX monster trucks. The parts are machined from 7075 aluminium and available in black or gun metal anodising. The steering blocks are usable on the front and the rear of the truck and their design and material makes for improved durability and impact protection during hard bashing sessions. Made as a complement to the steering blocks are the aluminium pivot ball mounts. A direct fit with the above steering spindles, the parts add durability and visual impact. The steering blocks some in sets of two while the pivot ball mounts are available as 4-piece sets including mounting hardware.

F.T. Line Atomic .21 nitro on-road engine

XRD have introduced the F.T. Line Atomic .21 nitro on-road engine. The 3.5cc power plant features a completely redesigned sleeve and updated crankcase ports. The new cooling head is machined to sit lower on the crankcase for a low centre of gravity effect and the carburettor is equipped with reshaped needles for improved mixture flow. As with every F.T. Line engine, the unit comes hand-checked with an individual certificate of authenticity.

Capricorn C803 1-piece engine mount

Italian company Capricorn have introduced a 1-piece engine mount for the C803 1/8th nitro on-road car. The rigid construction not only reduces flex of the chassis centre section, it also keeps the engine’s crankcase from becoming twisted for an overall improved bearing and engine life. On top of this the engine mount makes for easier gear mesh adjustment.

Exotek RS4 Sport 3 V2 heavy duty turnbuckle set

Exotek have introduced the version 2 heavy duty turnbuckle set for the HPI Racing RS4 Sport 3 touring car. The V2 set includes special polished gun metal finish steel turnbuckles whose 4mm section allows for easy adjustment of the camber and front toe settings using an optional 4mm turnbuckle wrench. Also updated are the heavy duty v2 nylon ball cups for toughness and greater durability as well a perfect fit on the stock ball ends. The set includes a total of six links with the single servo link being not included.

Joey Sorber returns to Ielasi Tuned

Ielasi Tuned have announced the return of Dutch top driver, Joey Sorber, to their factory team. Joey will use the company’s latest Nitro.21-9WCE on-road engine in the upcoming season at national and international races while also giving track-side technical support to Ielasi Tuned customers.

T-Works A800X titanium ball end sets

Coming from T-Works and made for the Awesomatix A800X touring car are three titanium ball end sets. The full set includes eight 5mm and 16 4.8mm ball ends all of which are made of high-quality 64-grade titanium material for a low weight and exceptional rigidity. Also available are four-piece sets of 5mm and 4.8mm ball ends to partially outfit the car.

JConcepts release new B6 & B64-series option parts

Coming from JConcepts are several new option parts for the B6 and B64 series of off-road buggies. First up are short and long Fin-series titanium shock stand-offs. Designed to replace the standard parts and featuring a lightweight design with built-in threads for easier shock angle adjustments, the 7mm hex based design allows adjustment with the most popular wrench in the R/C arsenal but also tapers down featuring the Fin treatment found on the JConcepts turnbuckles. The stand-offs are available in short and long variants for the front and rear of the B6 and B64 buggies and each 2-piece set includes two 3x8mm BHCS to secure the stand-offs to the shock tower. The standard 3mm locknut is used to finalise the assembly and secure the shock into position. The Delrin shock stand-off bushings are also available separately as a 4-piece set.

LRP welcome Juan Carlos Canas

LRP have announced the signing of Spain’s Juan Carlos Canas to their factory team. The EFRA 1/8th Buggy European B Champion will use LPR brushless motors, speed controllers, batteries, chargers and accessories for his 1/8th E-Buggy and nitro campaign and he has the following to say about the deal:
