CML Distribution sign Antoine Rossetti

CML Distribution have announced the singing of French top driver, Antoine Rosetti to their team. Antoine will race in the French 1/10th Championship in order to qualify for the European Championship in 2018, which will take place in Reims. He brings with him a wealth of experience and victories including a 2WD third place in 2011 from the European Championship in Pau. Antoine will be running the RC10B6/B6D in 2WD and the new RC10B64D in 4WD, powering his cars will be the Reedy Mach 3 brushless motors, Reedy 510R Blackbox ESCs and Reedy LiPo batteries. The whole of team CML UK and CML France welcome Antoine and look forward to some great results in 2017 and beyond.

Adam & Ronda Drake join O.S. and Trakpower

Following his departure from Novarossi last week, Hobbico have today announced that Adam Drake, along with his wife Ronda, have joined the O.S. and TrakPower race teams for 2017. This R/C power couple has been kicking the competition for a combined 50+ years, racking up countless wins at all levels. Now they’re bringing that expertise to a track near you, coaching race peers and helping Hobbico make fast drivers even faster with cutting-edge products. “O.S. is passionate about winning and is the proven choice of champions,” Adam explains. “I’m honored to be a part of the team.” Ronda adds “It has been a dream of mine to run for O.S. Team Orion competition speed controller – Teaser

Team Orion have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming competition brushless speed controller. By the looks of things the speedo in question will be the follow-up model of the successful R10.1 Pro 1/10th ESC with a new, compact 1/8th controller being possible also. Schumacher Cougar KD dirt spec 2WD buggy kit

Coming this February is Schumacher’s new Cougar KD dirt spec 2WD buggy kit.  Designed for low-traction dirt tracks the prototype of the buggy already showed some great performance at the European Off-Road Championships in Spain where Schumacher factory driver Michal Orlowski finished third on the podium. The KD has the adjustability to conquer loose dirt to hard packed clay tracks as well as other low-grip surfaces thanks to a new 3-gear stand-up gearbox with 14-ball differential and a newly designed 2.5mm aluminium chassis that is usable with a range of battery layouts including saddle, square and shorty. Carbon fibre side pods make for advanced chassis stiffness tuning and an updated suspension geometry ensures fast and consistent handling. Other features include shocks with bleed screw and vented options, a lightweight twin-pad slipper clutch and a new sleek bodyshell.

Capricorn LAB C-03 revised carbon fibre shock towers

Capricorn have introduced revised carbon fibre front and rear shock towers for the LAB C-03 200mm nitro touring car kit. The redesigned shock stays now feature less and relocated upper shock mounting positions for an updated shock geometry and thus improved handling and performance. Both parts are cut from high-quality carbon fibre and they are available separately.
