R1 Wurks Aluminium Motor Spacer
New from R1 Wurks are these Aluminium Motor Spacers intended for oval racing. Available in 3, 4 and 5mm options, they are designed to shift the motor’s mass to the left (inward), increasing the left-side weight percentage, this adjustment enhances handling and makes it a valuable tuning aid for oval racing. They are available in multiple thicknesses for fine-tuning. They can also be used universally in non-oval applications where redistributing motor mass enhances side-to-side weight balance. Made from high-quality 7075 T6 aluminium, these spacers are lightweight yet durable. Their excellent heat transfer properties help dissipate heat efficiently through the motor plate, ensuring optimal cooling performance. Specifically in terms of Oval racing performance benefits the spacers improve cornering stability in that it balances the car when entering turns, increasing left-side tire traction. It also reduced right rear drive by shifting weight away from the right rear, aiding rotation and improving corner exit transitions.
