Coming from Xray and made for the T4 line of touring cars are orange driveshafts caps. Moulded from a heavy duty composite material the C-shaped caps offer improved wear characteristics and a low resistance and they are usable with the ECS and the standard CVD driveshafts. The 3.5mm thick parts are available in sets of four pieces and they are made for the use with the Multi-Diff and both steel or alloy outdrives.

Creation Model have announced the signing of former IFMAR Electric Touring Car World Champion, Jilles Groskamp to the Infinity team. Jilles was chosen for his incredible driving skills, passion and dedication to the hobby. With his experience and professional attitude he will be an important part of the team while helping to improve current and develope future projects. The former HB/HPI driver had the following to say about the deal:
I’m very happy to announce my career move to Creation Model. This new company has a great passion for R/C and I will be joining a great group of people. First I will be running the Infinity 1/8 at most big races but in the meantime we will also be working hard on future projects. O.S. Engines have announced the signing of up and coming American-Chinese racer JJ Wang to their factory team. The 18-year old Mugen racer and 2014 IFMAR World Championship finalist has signed a 2-year deal that will see him use the Japanese power plant throughout his national and international 1/8th and 1/10th nitro campaign including this year’s 200mm World Championships in Italy. JJ had this to say about his new deal:

New from Avid come 5.8mm titanium pivot balls with M3 thread and 3mm hex head. Weighing in at 0.36g each they can scrub a good amount of weight especially in higher placed areas such as upper shock mounts and they are usable on a range of 1/8th and 1/10th scale on-road cars such as the ones from Xray, ARC, Serpent, HB, Kyosho and others. The pivot balls come in sets of four in a reusable doodad container.

Xtreme Aerodynamics have introduced the all-new S3 stiffeners for their 1/8th scale bodyshells. The tube-style screw-on plastic parts are user-friendly, reusable and they have been designed to efficiently reinforce the bodyshell to maximise performance. They attach to the body in the pre-shaped areas, doing away with the need to cut and fit fiddly polycarbonate pieces.
Horizon Hobby have introduced the Losi TEN-MT 1/10th scale 4WD monster truck RTR kit. Based off of the successful TEN-SCTE 2.0 platform the vehicle features a sturdy 4WD drivetrain, tough suspension components with 12mm big bore shock absorbers as well as factory-installed electronics in the form of a Dynamite Fuze 3800kv brushless motor, Dynamite Fuze 130A speed controller and a powerful steering servo. Also included is a Spektrum DX2E 2.4GHz AVC technology radio system and the set is rounded out by a pre-painted bodyshell, available in two designs, and pre-mounted monster truck tyres.

Coming from Azarashi and made for the Yokomo YZ-4 is the all-new Veloce bodyshell. The body offers an optimised cabin position and shape with the smooth lines making for a more controllable feel of the buggy on the track. The Veloce also fits the Kyosho Lazer ZX6 and it incorporates cut lines for both cars.

Avid have introduce the version 2 of their popular Kyosho shock and turnbuckle tool. Machined from 6061 aluminium and coming black anodised and with silver edges the V2 tool offers improved ergonomics for more effortless wrenching. The wrench is designed to allow the easy use of the lower cartridges of the Kyosho 12mm shocks and it also incorporates a 3.5mm turnbuckle and 5.5mm nut wrench.
