Team Durango DEX410v5 – Coming soon

Coming in February is Team Durango’s latest incarnation of the popular DEX410 1/10th 4WD off-road buggy. The v5 kit will receive a redesigned, wider chassis with longer wheelbase for improved stability in all racing conditions. A revised rear end geometry adds rear grip which translate into more forgiveness while the chassis design allows to use saddle or shorty LiPo batteries in multiple configurations. Also included is the Easy Mesh motor mount system that allows to reposition the motor without optional parts and also included are Team Durango’s new Multi-Axle driveshafts that first round their way into the recently released DEX210v3 2WD buggy. The different length driveshafts help to adjust how the vehicles “squares up” on power. The kit is rounded out by a combined slipper clutch and centre differential as well as a new bodyshell and the 410v5 will become available by February.

JConcepts S2 bodyshell for TLR 22 3.0

JConcepts S2 bodyshell for TLR 22 3.0

Making its debut at the recent IFMAR Worlds in Japan, JConcepts have introduced a TLR 22 3.0 version of their new S2 bodyshell. Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering. A channeled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with and tight fit and finish. Cut-lines are included on each side of the body to accommodate 3 or 4 gear transmission layouts giving all out versatility. Available in standard and lightweight versions.
