Marc Fischer joins Gens Ace factory team

Gens Ace have announced the signing of German frontrunner Marc Fischer to their factory team. Marc will be using Gens Ace LiPo batteries to power his Serpent on-road and off-road rides from now on and the start with his new sponsor could not be better, as he won the German Electric Touring Car Modified title last weekend. With the win he grabbed his fourth national TC Modified title while the victory marked a first for Gens Ace.

Schelle AE V2 12mm shock pistons

With the release of the latest V2 “screw-on” style Team Associated 3mm shock shaft, Schelle Racing Innovations came up with some new 12mm shock pistons to fine-tune the shock setup. Available in the popular sizes 2×1.6, 2×1.7 and 3×1.4, each size is available in either a traditional flat piston or in a bevel design. The CNC precision machined Delrin pistons offer a precision cut outer diameter with smooth machined outer edge while the tight fit to the shock body reduces wasted blow by around piston edges. Each package contains two pistons, tuning guide, and bevel piston supplement.

Nicholas Lee joins Sweep Racing

Sweep Racing have announced the signing of Nicholas Lee to their team. The Singaporean racer qualified on the 3 spot at the IFMAR 1/10th Gas Worlds in Bangkok and he has the following to say about the deal:

Pro-Line Yeti body shells & Traxxas Pro-Spline HD axles

Pro-Line have two new body shells for the Axial Yeti as well as the pre-assembled Pro-Spline HD axles for a range of Traxxas 2WD and 4WD kits available. Starting with the bodies, both the Ford F-150 Raptor SVT and the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon are tailor-designed to fit Axial’s popular Yeti rock racing buggy. Both bodies make use of the original Yeti cage and interior to make them look like real race trucks and they come made from high-quality polycarbonate material and include a comprehensive decal sheet and window masks.

JConcepts Smoothies for Stadium Truck & SCT

JConcepts Smoothies 1/10th off-road slick tyres are now also available in stadium truck and short course versions. Released as a 2.2” and 3.0”/2.2” bead mounting diameter respectively, the tyres mount straight to the latest generation wheels for that all important reactive feel. The carefully profiled tyre carcass rolls through the turns with efficiency while the maximum smooth surface area grips perfectly on surfaces such as prepped “indoor” clay. The Smoothies include Dirt-Tech grey inserts and are available in gold and green compounds.

Team Associated RC8B3e Electric buggy

Having released the RC8B3 back in April, Team Associated have today released the electric version of the buggy, the RC8B3e. The RC8B3e Team Kit was designed specifically for brushless power that uses a unique, proprietary, hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminium chassis designed for optimum weight distribution and superior handling. Additionally there is the two-piece sliding motor mount for easy gear mesh adjustment and motor removal, while the majority of the rest of the buggy remains the same as its gas powered counterpart.

This durable unit features holes in the top surface for shock maintenance, is held in place with 4 rubber feet and sports the Xceed logo laser etched on 3 sides. Also new from Xceed is this smaller size tool-bag, perfect for the race classes which don’t require a large selection of tools. The durable bag uses a large strong zipper and has soft padding inside to protect your tools. The Xceed logo is of course prominent on the front and inside.

Teamsaxo carbon camber gauges

Teamsaxo have introduced this new camber gauge in two different versions, for 1/10 touring cars and 1/8 off-road cars. Similar to others already on the market, they allows you to perform quick camber checks for 3 of the most frequently-used wheel camber angles in each class, 0.5, 1 & 1.5° and 2, 2.5 & 3°. Lightweight, compact and easy to use it has been precision machined from carbon fibre material and individually inspected to verify angle accuracy.
