Made for Vaterra’s Twin Hammers rock racer is the X-Duty CVD spline drive kit from MIP. The custom involute spline design makes for smooth telescoping operation and thus a more efficient working drivetrain. The kit is a direct replacement for the stock drives and it includes durable steel male and female bones, 5mm drive hubs, cross pins, grub screws and a cup of MIP thread gel and grease.

Kyosho America announce the addition of Matt Chambers to their factory race team. Matt is very well known for his 1/10 electric off-road racing skills where he has made countless A-Main’s throughout his racing career. Along with Chambers’ impressive speed on the track, he is also recognized as being one of the most hardworking and helpful racers off the track. Matt will make his Kyosho debut next week at the 17th Annual Hot Rod Hobbies Shootout in Saugus, California and he has the following to say about the deal:

After much speculation about his post-AE future, Ryan Maifield has officially joined forces with Team Losi Racing. The multiple ROAR national champion will work closely with the TLR R&D team on the further development of the Team Losi Racing electric and nitro off-road car platforms including the 22, Ten and 8ight cars. Ryan will be making his Team Losi Racing debut at race 3 of the JConcepts Indoor National Series this weekend at Outback Raceway in Chico, CA.

HPI introduce this bronze wheel set for the revitalised Micro RS4 1/18 scale cars. Spec-R introduce a set of double joint driveshafts for the Xray T4 and the Spec-R R1, S1 and S2 kits. The driveshafts are made from high quality spring steel, they feature strong retaining clips for the cross pins and include a set of narrow inner ball bearings.

Muchmore Racing introduce their Perfect 0.5mm step 1/10th off-road ride height gauge. Made from aluminium and coming black anodised and laser-engraved, the tool allows to precisely measure ride height values of 15mm to 25mm in 0.5mm increments. The white height markings on the top and side of the gauge help with visibility when measuring on whatever part of the chassis.

Coming as dedicated B5 and B5M set, the kits include high-quality titanium screws and blue anodised aluminium locknuts to cut the weight of the buggy’s fasteners in half. The B5 rear motor configuration weight reduction kit contains 71 pieces including 58 flat head and button head titanium screws as well as 13 blue anodised aluminium locknuts in M4 and M3 size while the B5M kit features 11 additional screws and 2 additional locknuts.
