Muchmore introduce their new Impact FD2 line of high-performance LiPo battery packs. Built using the latest high C-rate cells the range includes a standard size 6000mAh 90C pack, a 4500mAh 90C shorty battery as well as two 25mm height 6000mAh 90C and 23mm low-profile 5200mAh 80C saddle packs. All batteries come in a protective hardcases and with 4mm bullet-type connector tubes.

Made for Xray’s High-Torque 1/8th nitro off-road clutch is a set of hard springs. The “hard” silver colour springs let the clutch engage later than the already available medium and soft springs for harder acceleration at higher RPMs. The springs come in 3-piece sets.

HB announce that American racer JJ Wang has extended his contract to race wit the electric on-road and off-road racing team through to 2016. Now a veteran member of the HB-HPI Racing on-road racing team, JJ has been helping develop the new HB Pro 5 with the help of HB designers and teammate Andy Moore. JJ has also been campaigning the HB D413 at off-road tracks around the world. This is what JJ has to say about the deal:
I am very happy and excited to be able to continue with HB-HPI Racing for the upcoming season. Schumacher now have the pre-mounted low-profile Cut Stagger 2WD front tyre and the Spiral SC silver compound tyre available. Starting with the pre-mounted 1/10th buggy tyre, the control tyre of the EOS 2014/15 season comes in the carpet-specific yellow compound glued to a slim 12mm hex front wheel. The pre-mounted version does away with the hassle to glue the tyres on your own and it fits on a wide range of today’s 2WD buggies with 12mm wheel hex adapters. Also new is the Spiral SC 1/10th short course tyre in the super soft silver compound. The softest of Schumacher’s rubbers is ideal for the use on wet astroturf or dirt.

New from Radtec comes a 2-piece motor cooling fan mount. Machined from high-grade 7075-T6 aluminium the holder is usable with 30mm and 40mm fans and it mounts directly to the motor can for improved cooling efficiency without interfering with the chassis’ flex. The mount features a channel to route the fan’s connection wire in and it is available in several colours including black, orange, light blue and red.

Team Associated soon have new Factory Team parts available for the B44.3 4WD buggy in the form of a carbon fibre shorty battery strap, an aluminium centre diff cap and 12mm front hex adapters. Starting with the battery strap, the brace is machined from high-quality carbon fibre and made to replace the standard part with a more rigid and cooler looking part. Included with the strap comes a pair of blue anodised mounting screws.

Italian company Reds Racing announce the re-signing of Elliott Boots for another two years through to 2016. The Kyosho front runner and 2012 IFMAR Worlds top qualifier has the following to say about the deal:

Italian company Marka Racing have two new aluminium option parts for the Yokomo BD7 2014 and BD5 available in the form of a floating fan mount and black front spool drive cups. Starting with the fan mount, the CNC-machined 7075 aluminium part offers a special design that minimises the influence on the chassis tweak as only one screw is used to fix the mount to the main chassis plate. The black anodised holder is usable with most of today’s 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 40mm fans, it weights in at only 2.3g and comes with mounting hardware. The sturdy design allows to mount smaller 25mm and 30mm fans with only one screw to minimise weight gain while larger 35mm and 40mm fans should be fixed with two screws. The part is a direct fit on BD7 2014 and BD5 cars but using the mount on a 2015 spec car requires a mooting hole to be drilled by your own.
