Travis Amezcua renews with Viper

Viper R/C Solutions that Travis Amezcua has renewed its contract with Viper for the next two years. Travis had a strong 2013, capped off with an A Main performance in the 4WD class at the IFMAR Electric Off-Road World Championships. Travis’ Team Durango vehicles will feature Viper VTX speed controls and VST motors in his 2014 and 2015 champing that will see his appearance at events like the Reedy Race of Champions, Cactus Classic, ROAR Nationals and more.

MIP Pro-2 Super Ball Diff kit

MIP introduce the Super Ball Diff kit for Pro-Line’s Pro-2 2WD short course truck kit. The differential will supply the truck with more traction in the corners and greatly increase handling on dirt and clay tracks. It fits the Pro-2 truck kit and the Pro-Line Performance Transmission and with the diff set including all needed parts such as chrome steel diff and thrust bearing balls, lubes and greases.

Vision Racing SRX2 & Ten-SCTE option parts

Vision Racing have new option parts for the Serpent SRX2 buggy and the TLR Ten-SCTE short course truck available. First up is the short carbon fibre battery brace for the Serpent buggy. The part is cut from 2.5mm high quality material and a direct fit. It is ideal when mounting the speed controller in-line with a shorty LiPo battery packs as the shorter length of the brace does away with speedo height clearance problems. Also new are inner shock bushings for the Ten-SCTE truck. Made from teflon material the parts are of a very high precision improving the O-ring seal seat and thus seal life and shock action. The bushings come in sets of four.

JConcepts RC10 Classic aluminium steering set

One of the best hop-ups that can be made to the RC10 is to update the steering bellcranks with a more durable design. JConcepts has evaluated the options and built an all aluminium design bringing the driving bell-crank into a 1-piece design eliminating the servo saver, increasing steering response and feel. The idler bellcrank sports a beefy and similar design giving the vehicle a symmetrical feel. The parts are available in blue or black and feature silver chamfered edged highlighting and laser-etched JC logo. The bellcranks are bearing supported with heavy-duty flanged bearings and include threaded aluminium steering posts for an ultra snug fit and finish. Hardware includes genuine Team Associated 8-32 x ½” aluminium flat head screws and custom aluminium post shims which locates on the bottom of the assembly. The steering kit fits all RC10 and RC10 classic buggies.

Pro-Line Wedge Squared 2WD buggy tyre

Pro-Line introduce the Wedge Squared 2WD buggy front tyre. The Wedge Squared has twice as much tread as the original Wedge making it ideal for tracks that require more steering. Other features such as the true drop-in bead and the super narrow and low-profile design are taken over from its predecessor. Thy tyre comes in Z3 compound that is good for carpet, wood, cardboard, plastic and many other “indoor” surfaces.

Xray XB4 chassis weight set

Xray introduce this chassis weight set for the XB4 line of 1/10th buggies. Included are two 20g brass weights and suitable hardware to mount the weights in pre-shaped pockets right behind the LiPo battery packs. Adding weight in this position adds stability and traction and the parts fit both the XB4 4WD and 2WD buggy.

RDRP RB6 battery holder plate set

New from Revolution Design Racing Products comes the battery holder plate set for the Kyosho RB6 buggy. The set includes a battery hold down plate cut from high-quality carbon fibre as well as a 7075-T6 aluminium mounting plate. The latter comes black anodised and laser-etched, as usual with RDRP parts. The set is suitable for mid and rear motor buggies as well as all battery layouts including 2S shorty, stick and saddle packs. The parts offer a higher rigidity and increased looks over the stock moulded plastic braces and should also fit the new RT6 truck.
