2013 was looking to be a tough year for Graupner / GM-Racing after parent company Graupner GmbH & Co.KG went insolvent. From the ashes comes a new company Graupner/SJ GmbH which has been founded by SJ Incorporated. Having purchased some assets like the Graupner and GM-Racing brand names, well known and respected racer Ralf Helbing, who used to be the head of development, has now taken over control of Graupner’s business activities as its managing director. The first new GM/SJ products to hit the shelves will be the GM/SJ Race motor series as well as the new GM Genius Pro speedo which is currently being tested by team drivers and has already sparked a lot of interested amongst drivers and competitors. Expect those products very soon along with many more to come such as the X8-E high-level car radio with which it will be possible to change the speedo setup during a practice run without leaving the rostrum.

Team C have released a teaser image of their new 2wd SC truck. The chassis looks to be heavily based on the TM2 buggy which features an inline mounted mid motor configuration that drives a center shaft to the rear drive train. The chassis and top deck are carbon as per the buggy and it also features the aluminium side stiffeners for rigidity. We have no other details currently regarding release date but we will let you know as we find out.

Orcan’s new OA1911 pipe has been developed especially for mid-sized tracks and offers extremely high torque coupled with linear power delivery through the entire range in combination with low fuel consumption. The new OA1911 pipe comes with a short conical manifold and all mounting accessories and is the perfect addition to the OA1910Plus and OA1915 pipe family. It delivers a huge amount of torque for a linear performance, making it ideally suited to mid-sized race tracks. Orcan also have numerous optional manifolds which can be ordered separately like the OA1911M for superior acceleration, the OA1911C for lower fuel consumption and the OA1911S for more mid-range and high-end torque and a higher top speed.

JConcepts has reinvented the tire mounting rubber band. A uniquely molded design, specifically developed for tire mounting, the rubber band is produced in a high-elasticity material capable of stretching to a full assortment of different sized tires. Finely detailed array of handles are designed to ergonomically conform to your fingers so the user can deftly adjust the rubber band to the sidewall of each tire to apply the pressure where it is needed. FTW have released their Night Fox body for the Xray XB9 2013 spec buggy. Tailored to fit the 2013 Spec’s wider chassis, the newest Night Fox features a suite of refinements that take the tradition to new heights. Sculpted sidepods and an additional 6 degrees of rake to the windshield combine for improved airflow. The rear deck height has been lowered to expose more of the engine head and integrate a spoiler while preserving the fastback profile.

DE Racing have announced some updates to their Borrego wheel line with the release of this front wheel for the Kyosho ZX5. Also new is a Borrego 17mm SC wheel for the Team Associated SC8 and other SC conversions using a 17mm hex. Both new wheels are available in white, yellow, silver and black.
