Tekno RC SCT410 4×4 SC truck

Tekno RC have announced the newest addition to their stable of RC vehicles, the SCT410 1/10th 4×4 Short Course Truck. The SCT410 shares many parts with the EB48 1/8th Electric Buggy, so you know it will be able to carve up the track and take a beating. There are many new parts on the SCT to keep weight to a minimum, including new narrower arms, lighter steering blocks, spindle carriers, rear hubs and an all new lightweight drivetrain. Add some sturdy adjustable body mounts and a front/rear bumper system and you have the SCT that everyone has been waiting for. true 1/8th scale roots with 1/10th scale weight and agility. Standard 12mm hex wheels will bolt right on (SCTE offset) and existing 7.4v SCT power systems will have no trouble pushing the SCT410 around the track. The SCT410 will be sold in race kit form and should be available in January 2013.

Motonica P81 RS3 1/8th chassis

Motonica have announced the release of their new P81 version RS3. The main new improvements include the new chassis plate, new rear shock absorber body and front shock absorbers shafts and a new servo saver Ackerman plate. The new chassis aims to increase grip and add more steering while the new shock absorbers body is longer, resulting in more traction and more steering of the car, while the new Ackerman helps offer smoother driving and more steering.

Elangears Elan-R compact charger

Elangears have released the follow up to their EL-01D compact charger with the release of the Elan-R. The updated device sports a clearer orange LCD screen and more power. Powered by DC 11V – 16V it now has a charging output of 0.1 to 15A and a discharge current of 0.1 to 7A making it a significant update on the previous version.

Torsten Müller signs for SMI Motorsport

SMI Motorsport, German importers for Xray, have announced the signing of Torsten Müller to their Racing Team. The reigning German Class 2 Champion, will run the company’s Xray RX8 for the upcoming season at National and International Events. Torsten had the following to say about the deal:

Firstly, thanks a lot to team Shepherd for their support for the last years. Now it’s a new challenge for me and I’m really happy to join the Xray Team Germany and I will do my best for the next seasons.

Team Titan Blitz R18-V2 shell

The Blitz R18-V2 is based on the Blitz R18 which was announced in 2011. The V2 version features lower front to provide more steering, a lower rear side give better top speed and quick response when changing direction and they have stiffened the surface to make the body structure stronger. There is 3 different thicknesses ranging from 1.2mm for the best durability, 1.0mm for the best balance of performance and durability and a 0.8mm version for the best performance. They expect the shell to be homologated for the 2013 season.

Hitec H4 DC/DC multicharger

Hitec announce their new H4 four port DC multicharger. Housed in a sleek aluminium case with backlit graphic display and four computer controlled 120W ports the charge can make use of NiMH, LiXX and Pb batteries. The 8A independent ports can also be paired into two 240W outputs for even more charging power. The charger sports the usual line of safety features, is upgradable with the latest firmware and PC-interface capable using Hitec’s own HPP-22 PC interface.
