Capricorn have released a number of new option parts for their car including this set of hard coated aluminium suspension pivot balls. The balls are also suitable for the Mugen MTX-5, MRX-5 and Xray NT1. Other new items include an aluminium servo saver with a new 13mm ackermann, new -0.75mm or 0mm offset wheel hex hubs, a 13.1 gram tungsten weight and a new 1/8 or 1/10th wheel adapter for the Brain Stuff additive applicator machine.
Team HB have confirmed the addition of former Xray driver Teemu Leino to its ranks to join other new signing Shin Adachi alongside Atsushi Hara, Andy Moore, Ty Tessmann and Jesse Robbers. Teemu is a multiple world class race winner, with previous wins at the LRP Race, TITC, IIC and the European Championships. Plus multiple podiums at the European Championships and a 3rd place finish at the World Championships. Teemu will be a valuable addition to the World Championship Winning Team HB. Schumacher would like to announce that top UK Off Road driver Simon Moss has re-joined the team for 2012. After a winter spell away from Schumacher, Simon is now back to join their team to run the new Cougar SV2 and CAT SX3 cars. Simon had this to say:
Its a great feeling to be back at the team where I feel I belong. I’m really looking forward to the 2012 season and working hard to have another fantastic year driving for Schumacher. I would like to thank Shaun and the guys at Ansmann for their support over the winter, but unfortunately things didn’t work out. I’d like to thank the guys at Schumacher for making this move happen. Simon’s first race was at the Schumacher Indoor Masters at Worksop this last weekend where he finished an excellent 3rd in 2WD and 4th in 4WD.

Reds Racing USA have announced that Diatta Collymore from New York, NY will be running the M3T engine for 2012 in 1/10 on-road. Diatta has extensive race plans for 2012 and his first race with the M3T engine will be at the Winternats in Ft. Myers, Florida next week. Diatta had this to say:

Top Italian 1/8th scale racer Michele Romagnoli joins Team Sonic for the 2012 season. The Italian vice-champion of 2011 will be a strong addition to the team helping to improve the Sonic product line with his experience. Having finished 4th at the last European Championship in Luxembourg he is aiming to improve his result at the upcoming Euros in Portugal. Additionally he will attend all national championship races as well as some regional events.

Futura 2012 have released their new tyre additive for wet surfaces. This new additive has been made with special components to improve traction on tire treads on slippery wet surfaces. It is enough to apply the additive on the tyre 2 minutes before the race or apply 2 coats for better traction, leaving couple of minutes between applications.
