Yuichi Adachi joins KM International team

KM Group International have announced that 2010 All Japan National Sports Class Champion Yuichi Adachi has signed to race with KM for the coming season. Yuichi was looking for a new challenge and is joining the KM International Team with team mates like Dario Balestri, Meen V and Hang. He will attend many races as an International Team Driver like the All Japan Nationals, FEMCA and IFMAR World Championship, as well as all major races in Japan. Yuichi had the following to say about his new challenge:

I am very happy KM International give me this chance, I will do my best to represent KM brand and make good race result in the upcoming races. Especially, my goal for 2012 is to make grand final in 1/10 GP Touring IFMAR World in Thailand. I have a big confidence to my new car, H-K1, this is the best of the best GP sedan I have ever driven before. Also, I will do my best to support KM R&D staffs by using my 20 years of racing experiences, for KM Future products. See you guys in 2012 Worlds in Thailand.

LMR 201X brass bulkhead

New from Lee Martin’s LMR brand is this brass bulkhead for the Tamiya 201X. Used to help Lee win the 2011 European championship and make the IFMAR worlds A main, it adds 35g of weight over the front end. The block uses utlises plastic inserts to reduce wear and make maintenance less costly.

Matrix Tires re-signs Alexander Hagberg

Matrix Tyres in Italy have confirmed that they have re-signed Swedish International racer Alexander Hagberg for the 2012 season. The Xray driver has been running these tires since the start of his career in nitro racing. “The quality and standard has always been perfect. They have been market leaders especially after the introduction of the very stiff and lightweight carbon rims. For next year I will use Matrix Tires also in the 1/12 class. My first race with those tires will be the 2012 Snowbirds in Orlando, Florida.”

Pro-Line & Protoform range of t-shirts

Pro-Line and Protoform have released a number of new t-shirts to increase their range of merchandising. First up is the Surf style T-shirt in Silver, with its clean silver color and its simple but effective logo placement. The Pro-Line Urban style T-shirt in Slate Blue features a large street-style P-L logo front and center and a full Pro-Line logo on the back, along with a ghosted splattering of tires, cars and logos. For the ladies there is the Urban Girl style T-shirt in Pink which will make your girl look pretty in pink and beautiful around town. The shirt features a gorgeous floral pattern that will stand out from the crowd. Pro-Line is also donating 50% of the proceeds from all Urban Girl Pink shirts to the American Breast Cancer Foundation. Pro-Line 2012 Bulldog for Hot Bodies D8 & D8T

Pro-Line have released updated 2012 versions of their Bulldog body for the Hot Bodies D8 and D8T developd by Ty Tessmann. Ty personally spent hours refining the design for 2012 to create even more stability with enhanced steering to gain an advantage on the track. The windshield is steeper to create more down force over the front wheels and the roof ridges have been raised to channel the air flow over the middle of the body for increased high-speed stability. The rear of the roof has been lowered and fins have been added to achieve maximum engine head cooling and stable air flow over the body. The fins also add rigidity to the body to increase aerodynamic efficiency. Additionally on the truggy shell the hood has been raised slightly to allow more clearance for a longer shock setup and the headlights and grill have been redesigned.

RPM Revolver SC wheels

RPM have announced that their most popular wheel, the Revolver, is now available in a Short Course version (2.2” – 3.0”). RPM Revolver Short Course wheels are built tough, look great and have an all-new drive system that is built to withstand some serious power.
