Used by Juho Levanen to claim the runner up spot at last weekend’s ATS race in Japan, the RC10TC6.1 Factory Team kit is the next evolutionary step in touring car design from Team Associated. Building on the successfully proven TC6, the designers behind the doors of Area 51 added even more features, making the TC6.1 easier to tune and drive. The narrow chassis has been designed around current brushless motor systems and LiPo batteries, optimizing weight distribution for superior handling. To further enhance handling performance, there is updated suspension arms for increased stiffness and strength. These new suspension arms feature finer shock adjustments to help get the TC6.1 totally dialed in.

Novak Havoc Pro SC with X-Drive

Reds introduce the all new .21 5-port nitro buggy engine. Tuned by M. Rossi the long-stroke engine sports a 5-port chromed liner with booster exhaust ports, a CNC-machined billet aluminium piston, new separated and cooled combustion chamver and a light weight cooling head. Other features included are a 14mm balanced crankshaft, high strength connection rod, all Swiss-made ball bearing and a new composite slide carburettor.

Exotek Racing release the extra flex top deck for Tamiya’s TRF417 touring car. The part is aggressively shaped for extra flex over the stock 417 top plate and uses US made bi-directional layup carbon fibre for maximum flex traits. The rear section has added cut outs for greater flex at the motor mount for increased rear end stability allowing you to drive into corners harder and power out faster. Great tuning aid to have to extend tire wear and generate maximum grip for controlled tire races.

MCD W5 short course truck

After releasing a handful of preview pictures MCD Racing have now revealed the W5 large scale gasoline-powered Short Course truck in full. Based on the V4 4WD chassis the truck features larger shock towers, longer shock absorbers, improved CVD driveshafts and the new Xross-Max called SC tyres with aggressive tread for maximum traction on most off-road surfaces. Although not officially confirmed it is understood that the W5 will come in different engine specifications such as the other MCD vehicles leaving you the choice between different displacement engines.

Novak Diablo dual battery brushless system

Team Novak introduce the Diablo dual battery brushless system for monster trucks such as the Traxxas E-Maxx or HPI Savage that make use of dual battery power. The 550-size motor and speed controller are designed from the ground up to run from two 2S or 6-cell NiMH batteries as found in 1/10 scale vehicles. The controller features Novak’s own Bash Boost technology that boosts the performance of the motor by advancing the timing at a certain RPM and throttle position. The sensored 550-size motor sports a 5mm shaft and a one-piece, multi-pole sintered Neodymium magnet.
