Akula Racing DEX210 carbon fibre options

Akula Racing release four carbon fibre option parts for the Team Durango DEX210 buggy. Available are front and rear shock towers as well as a battery brace and steering brace. The front shock tower is cut from 4mm carbon fibre material and offers a total of five upper shock mounting positions with the camber link position has been moved to the front of the tower and additional mounting positions have been provided to enable a longer front link to be run.

Borja Hernandez joins Alpha Engines

Alpha Engines have announced that top Spanish off road driver Borja Hernandez has joined their team. The former World Finalist and 2 time European Championship podium finisher will move to Alpha for the 2012 season to play a big role inside Alpha official driver’s team. Borja had the following the say about the deal:

I decided to join Alpha because the top quality, innovation and reliability of the products, able to give me all the confidence to win the races I will attend. It’s a proud to me to be an official driver of Alpha Engines and take part in racing and development of the products.

CSO MTX5 aluminium options

CSO continue to churn out new items for the Mugen MTX5 with the release of three new optional parts for the car. First up is this aluminium steering servo saver set which comes in three pieces and like the other parts offers increased durability and that option look. The other two parts are aluminium radio plate support mounts and a hard coated steering servo saver post.

Nitrosisters Xray chassis clearance spacers

Nitrosisters in Germany have released this set of spacers to adjust the chassis clearance of the front axle on the Xray X10, XII and the new X12. The design makes it easier to change than the original spacers and the set includes 10 aluminium spacers, 4 are 1mm and 6 are 0.5mm thick.

FTW Tactic shell for THE Car

FTW Racing Components have unveiled the latest addition to its lineup of 1:8 scale bodies, Tactic for JQ’s THE Car. Tactic features a forward-cab configuration for improved handling and the dramatically unconventional styling that defines FTW. The body is sold with window masks and a decal sheet. We can expect more shells for other brands of cars from FTW in the near future.
