Laszlo Kiss-Orban joins Viper RC

Laszlo Kiss-Orban joins Viper RC

Viper RC Solutions have announced that multiple Hungarian National Champion Laszlo Kiss-Orban has joined their international racing team. Laszlo will be testing and racing Viper R/C ESC’s and motors at major European events like EFRA Euros, the Euro Touring Series and Hungarian Nationals.

For me, as an electrical engineer, this opportunity has double value. To use at the races a highly innovative device like Viper R/C speedo, motors, and accessories as a driver is one part, but to participate in this development team thinking and working by their own way it’s a plus for me. I would like to thank Viper R/C for giving me this great opportunity, and I hope my small country will become well known part of the European racing field in the future.

Exotek Racing EXO103 F103 conversion

Exotek Racing have released the EXO103 this high performance, lightweight chassis for the F103 based on the highly successful EXO104 link chassis. Inline battery mounting, 265mm wheelbase and a floating rear pod all translates into a potent platform for high power applications. Using actual components from the World Champion Yokomo 1/12th they have re-engineered the rear pod into a 2 link floating rear pod for superior rear traction and stability. The set includes a VCS through shaft center oil shock to perform tweak free side dampening, a carbon fiber 1 piece top deck to reduce tweak and allows just enough flex to maintain proper traction. A pan car type tweak screw and side spring adjustment feature help properly balance the rear pod and provide super smooth suspension action.

Speedzone 2S & 1S LiPo Battery connectors

Speedzone 2S & 1S LiPo Battery connectors

Speedzone now offers a variety of connector options for LiPo batteries.  First up is a standard length connector available with a balance plug, 4mm bullet connectors and a Deans type or Traxxas connector.  These are also available without a balance plug for 1S applications, or for tight fitting areas.  Next up are 85mm length connectors which are also available with Deans type or Traxxas connectors, with and without balance plugs.  The shortened wire length allows these connectors to be used in places where room is an issue or gives the user a neat and compact finish to their wiring layout, while still using a plug and play connector for their battery packs.  Connectors come with 12 gauge wire and can be used as a harness connector for hook-up to a charger or ESC.  Speedzone also makes available their own low profile, low resistance 4mm male connectors. These types of connectors allow for soldering your wires at a 90 degree angle to the connector, permitting greater room for body and chassis clearance.
