Serpent 733 Evo 1/10th 200mm chassis

Having just announced the Evo version of their 966 Serpent have today introduced the 733 Evo. Essentially with the same updates as its bigger brother, the Serpent Flex Control rear end allows the brackets holding the 2-speed shaft and the brackets holding the rear diff to be connected with either aluminium inserts, rubber inserts or left in full flex mode. The car now also comes with the company’s direct link system that transfers the suspension pressure from one side, through a link system to the other side, creating even more rear end grip and making the 733 even easier to driver. Also the 2-speed shaft bearings and rear anti-roll bar ball-bearings are now set in delrin bushings to insulate from vibrations and the kit now includes a monoblock engine mount and steel ventilated brake disk as standard.

Ty Tessmann confirmed with Byron for 2011

Byron Fuels continues to confirm its 2011 team with the announcement that Ty Tessmann is continuing his representation of Byron Race Gen2. When asked, Ty had this to say about his association with Byron Fuels, “I am looking forward to another successful year running Byron Fuels. It is an awesome product that provides me consistent power and good run time. I would like to thank all the Byron staff for their continued support. Corally retain Marc Fisher for 2011

Dutch company Corally have announced that their team driver Marc Fischer from Germany has extended his contract for another year bringing him through to 2012 with the team. Marc Fischer had the following to say about his new deal:

I would like to send my special thanks to Constant, Susi and Yoko for they have given me the chance to continue the contract. In 2011 I will focus on following races: Snowbird Nationals, Euros TC Indoor and Outdoor, 1:12 German Nationals and Euros. On these and other races I would represent Corally as good as possible and will try all my best to take home the victory to team Corally.

Robitronic 5500mAh 60C competition 1S LiPo

Robitronic have introduced this new 1S competition LiPo pack specifically designed for 1/12th scale pan cars. This latest generation 5500mAh 60C 3.7V battery has extra low resistance to keep higher voltage for the complete run and comes fitted inside a secure hard case. It also features 4mm connectors for the lowest contact resistance.

Andrew Smolnik rejoins Byron Fuels

After a short away, Andrew Smolnik is back to Byron Fuels for 2011 to run their Race Gen2. Andrew will continue to drive Agama and will continue his affiliations with VP Pro, Airtronics, Avid Bearings and Protek. Sweep Racing Closed Cell 1:8 truggy inserts

Sweep Racing have released their new Closed Cell 1:8 truggy inserts. Based on the original industry standard closed cell foam insert, the new grooved insert is designed to take advantage of the radial ribs inside the carcass of the Exagon tires to ensure no air gaps and perfect balance. The inserts are now available with their line of truggy tires as well as in their line of pre glued truggy tires/wheels.

Exotek Racing F1 truing arbor set

Exotek Racing have produced this F1 truing arbor set for Tamiya F103 and F104 wheels. Polished and anodized, it has been precision machined from 6160 billet with an alloy steel steel main shaft. Knurled grips and a secure clamp locking system ensure the wheel, either front or rear, stays in place. Designed to work with any foam tire truer that has an 8mm shaft such as those made by Hudy, Ofna, Corally or Integy.
