Team Orion 1/8th Molecluar LiPo packs

Team Orion have released the first purpose designed 1/8 scale battery packs as part of their Carbon Molecular rang, which includes high quality 4S, 5S and 6S packs. Two lines of 1/8 scale batteries are available, the extra-large purple line offers maximum capacity and runtime and is built within the maximum dimensions of ROAR, with capacities of 4300mAh (6S), 5300mAh (5S) and even 6900mAh (4S). The blue line is designed to fit most of the cars without any modifications and comes in 3200mAh (6S), 3800mAh (5S) and 5100mAh (4S) versions. All the packs come pre wired and are fitted with Deans high power connectors and a JST-XH Balancing connector.

Exotek FX10 Formula Ten conversion

Exotek Racing have released the FX10, a high performance, super lightweight chassis conversion that takes the HPI Formula 10 to the next level. The carbon fibre one-piece top deck helps reduce tweak and allows just enough flex to maintain proper traction, while the narrowed chassis reduces chassis scrub for better handling and more corner speeds yet plenty of room to mount electronics. The new parts allows for more LiPo battery options by accepting round or square type flat bottomed 7.4v packs including Thunder Power, IB and Orion, with a max battery size of 47mm wide, 24mm tall, 137mm long. A modular battery strap design gives secure battery mounting but also quick and easy battery access. Other features include the pan car type tweak screw adjustment feature and the carbon fibre front arm brace and the set includes the orange anodized battery posts, gun metal spacers and necessary alloy steel hardware.

Associated SC10 Brushless RTR

Team Associated’s Brushless SC10, modeled after the trucks racing in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, now comes loaded with new features for this season. Coming pre-fitted with the XP/Reedy 3300 KV Brushless system and is controlled by a XP3-SS 2.4GHz 3-channel radio system. Based on the 7-time R.O.A.R. Nationals-winning RC10T4, the SC10 brushless comes ready-to-run with a factory-finished short-course race truck body, short-course-style wheels, and aggressive tread multi-terrain tires, all which have been designed to look just like the full-size race trucks that run in short-course off-road series around the country. Available in Lucas Oil, Speed Tech, Pro Comp and Rockstar-Makita versions.

Kyosho Ultima SC-R race kit

Kyosho have Introduced the SC-R race kit complete with proven parts from the Ultima RT5 and RB-5SP. Since its arrival to the SC scene the Kyosho SC Readyset has proven itself by winning every major race across the U.S. since its release, winning the Silver State, Cactus Classic and most recently the SC Showdown. Kyosho has produced a 100% race kit with a ton of high performance components. The Ultima SC-R is equipped with some of the best option parts that Kyosho has to offer like velvet coated shocks, ball differential, universal swing shafts, steel suspension bushings, adjustable hard-rod ends and teflon shielded bearings. Available in late July.

Capricorn E01 oversized combustion chamber

New for their E01 .12 engine, Capricorn have introduced this new oversized combustion chamber design that is said to increase heat dissipation by 30%. Its design also helps achieve higher RPM together with lower fuel usage and is also available for use in all .12 Novarossi based engines. Available in the next few days.

Kyosho small pit bag

Following the release of their large and medium pit bags at the end of last year, Kyosho have introduced their new small bag to complete the set. Made from hard wearing nylon material, the 410 x 250 x 360mm bag has 3 separate compartments and each compartment slides into its own heavy duty sleeve which is riveted for extra strength.
