Orlowski takes Q1 at EFRA European TC Championships

Schumacher’s Michal Orlowski has opened his quest for a first EFRA Electric Touring Car European Championship title in the best way possible by ending Day 1 in the Netherlands with a TQ run ahead of current World Champion Bruno Coelho and defending European Champion Marc Rheinard. In practice it was the Infinity of Coelho that set the pace at the Raco2000 track in Ultrecht ahead of Rheinard and Mugen Seiki’s Ronald Volker, with Euros Warm-up Race winner Orlowski seeding P4. The 24th running of the championships, as Coelho led away the 9-car top heat he had a spin on his second lap allowing Rheinard’s Awesomatix to go to the front and set the pace for the first half of the run before Orlowski took over as the pace setter. The 1:12 World Champion would hold on for the TQ ahead of a fast charging Coelho who laid down the fastest lap, the separation just 0.09 despite the almost 2-seconds Coelho lost as a result of his spin. Rheinard would record a P3 ahead of Volker with Awesomatix’s Lucas Urbain completing the Top 5. In Pro Stock, Awesomatix’s Max Mächler took the opening qualifier ahead of team-mate Olivier Bultynck as the Xray of Top Seed Adam Izsay opted to sit out Q1. TITC Open Brushless Champion Sören Sparbier completed the Top 3 for Mugen Seiki.

Ielasi Tuned Terra EVO .21 Offroad Engine

After the recent releases of its line-up of new onroad engines, Italian engine tuner Ielasi Tuned has released a new Evo version of its Terra .21 Offroad Engine. With team driver Joao Figueiredo using the engine in the back of Tekno to make the 2024 IFMAR 1:8 Nitro Buggy World Championship in Spain, the Terra EVO isn’t a true new engine but rather an upgrade from the previous model that changes the exhaust timing. This modification slightly alters power delivery, optimising it at low revs and consequently improving fuel economy.

JConcepts Pioneer modern 4WD Buggy Front Wheel

Continuing the roll out of its unique Pioneer wheel design, JConcepts has added a modern 4WD Buggy Front Wheel to the range. First released as a 1:10 2WD Wheel and then released in a larger 1:8 Buggy version, the 4WD Pioneer is suitable for Team Associated’s B84 and B74, Xray’s XB4, Schumacher’s L1R, and the 22X-4 from TLR. The dimensional aspect of the wheels matches the winning Mono wheels, have an industry standard offset and are produced in durable material, inner reinforcing ribs and stout 17mm hex area pack this design. The 4 pack of wheels is available in bright white, fluorescent yellow, stealth black and retro pink.

Factory Team Turnbuckle and Hex Diff Wrench

Team Associated’s options parts brand Factory Team has introduced this new combination turnbuckle & hex diff wrench intended for the RC10B7 Buggy. The two in one wrench allows you to adjust the ball differential without having to take off the tires, or conveniently flip around the tool to adjust your 3.7mm turnbuckles like those from Factory Team.

Rossing Designs Horizontal Body Mounting System Lite

Texas based Rossing Design has introduced a ‘Lite’ version of their Horizontal Body Mounting System which now weighs in a 2.3 grams with screws compared to the original version at 5.3 grams. HBS is designed to screw in with your wing mounting screws, to mount your body from horizontal body posts, and is an anti-tuck device. This works with bodies like Twister, Wolverine, and Super Mafia bodies. Currently available for Awesomatix, Xray, Schumacher and Team Associated the mounting system is made out of a proprietary plastic that is extremely flexible and durable, which allows this device to be used on many bodies, and is not designed as a single use item.

Yokomo Wonder Dog Fighter re-release

Yokomo has officially announced the upcoming re-release of their Wonder Dog Fighter 1:10 4WD Buggy, this being the fourthDog Fighter kit re-release from the Japanese manufacturer. In 1985 Gil Losi Jr. won the first IFMAR World Championship with the Dogfighter “YZ-834B WINNING Model” and now 40-years later Yokomo is bringing back the Wonder Dog Fighter which is is a replica of Losi Jr.’s car. Based on the concept of upgrading the previous YZ-834B to race specifications, this model features dual-shock rear dampers, reinforced ribs in the main chassis for increased rigidity, a body design that enhances downforce and grip, competition-spec compact bumpers, lightweight high-rigidity suspension arms and a torque limiter to control front-wheel drive. Experience the performance that conquered the world’s pinnacle at the time with this buggy which will come semi-assembled and will start shipping to distributors end of August.

JConcepts 22X P2 | S15 Bodies

JConcepts has updated their P2 and S15 as the latest body shells in its range to fit the 22X 1:10 2WD Buggy from Team Losi Racing. The P2 is a staple in the Florida company’s product line. The Punisher body shell design started its time in offroad during the 2010 racing season. Over the course of a decade, the design team along with the racers have helped push the envelope and re-invent the Punisher along the way creating the P2. The heritage of the IFMAR World Championship winning S15 design runs deep in the new shell. A great body to decal, the performance body has a lot of racing surface area to display an array of sponsors, and support. With successful designs coming from the Punisher, Finnisher, and Silencer line, the JConcepts crew made the decision to release the S15 for the TLR 22X which hit the market in May. Both bodies arrive as clear polycarbonate with protective film and are available in standard and lightweight formed thickness. The bodies also include two of the 6.5” Carpet | Turf | Dirt wing which is now a standard racing item around the world.
