Hobbywing EZRun Mini28 speed controller

Hobbywing introduce their new EZRun Mini28 speed controller built specifically for 1/28 scale racing. The ESC is extremely small (22mm by 14mm) and lightweight at only 5 grams and the shape is designed for ease of soldering and reducing unnecessary tweak, an important factor for a 1/28th scale racing car. The fully-alloy heat sink ensures that the ESC can dissipate heat and operates at a healthy temperature range while the maximum output current can be up to 30A. The ESC has many adjustable parameters, including PWM frequency, brake frequency, softening, Boost, Turbo and much more. It is equipped with two usage modes, the Zero-Timing which is more commonly known as ‘blinky’ and the ‘modified’ mode which allows power-hungry users to increase additional turbo timing in the software. The ESC also has a built-in BEC which can support a maximum output current of up to 3.5A and the output voltage at either 6V or 7.4V. This will ensure constant power supplied to today’s high-torque servos in the market. Simple and convenient, parameter settings, firmware upgrading and other operations can be established using Hobbywing’s OTA Bluetooth module and your mobile phone via the Hobbywing app.

Power HD M8 & M8 Pro 1/12th pan car servo

Power HD have introduced their new 1/12th Pancar specific M8 and M8 Pro professional edition servos. Prior to release, many international drivers havd already used the servo in the 2022 EFRA European Championships 1/12 including Power HD team driver Michal Orlowski who took double TQ and win at the event. Both versions are the same apart from the mounting option. The direct mount design of the M8 Pro helps to lower the chassis’s centre of gravity, offering stronger precision and locking force resulting in smooth cornering. The servo weighs only 28.6g, even with the full aluminium casing. Coming with 25T stainless steel + 7075 aluminium gear set and the latest PCBA, the servos support various ultra-high-speed modes like SSR, SUR, SXR, SR and SFR. Both servos can work with Power HD programming box, to adjust the servos parameters.

Sagami RC Fab A12 front lower arm

Sagami RC Fab has released a new front lower arm, with a shorter wheelbase, for the Awesomatix A12. By using this lower arm the wheelbase will be shortened by 6mm, the turning ability of the car will be improved and cornering will become more agile. By revising the shape and material, the rigidity is slightly lower than the genuine Awesomatix product, so the car can follow the road surface more flexibly. There are also holes for additional servo posts, which allows the rigidity of the suspension arm to be adjusted. Finally, as there are specific mounting holes for Sanwa and KO servos you can set the optimum Ackerman for each. Servos made by other manufacturers can also be installed using two long holes. When using a knuckle arm with zero-trail, the wheelbase will be 3mm shorter than standard, so the Ackerman will also change.
