Xray X1’20 aluminium flex & hard carbon fibre chassis

Xray have announced the release of new aluminium and carbon fibre chassis parts for their X1’20 formula car kit. First up is the 2.0mm aluminium flex chassis that was developed for the use on medium to high-bite carpet or high grip asphalt tracks. It features strategically placed milled-out sections to optimise the torsional flex while scrubbing a bit of weight. The narrow design eliminates contact with the track surface in corners while rolling, and offers improved cornering speed. The design also includes a slot for a composite battery backstop which allows 5mm battery position adjustment when using the most frequently used cross-chassis alignment configuration. Also incorporated are three wheelbase settings of standard, +4mm and -4mm.

Yeah Racing TRX-6 HD steel centre driveshaft set

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Traxxas TRX-6 6-wheeler trail truck is a HD steel centre driveshaft set. Made of high-quality steel material and featuring a heavy duty design the driveshafts offer exceptional durability even in very demanding terrain or when using high-powered motor and battery setups. Yokomo YD-2 integral aluminium front bulkhead

Yokomo’s new and soon-to-be-released integral aluminium front bulkhead was made to fit the company’s very popular YD-2 series of drift cars. This new bulkhead helps the greatly improve the assembling accuracy in the front end of the car as, compared to the standard bulkhead, the new design also helps provide a better steering feel which results in a more precise driving feeling. The new bulkhead can also be used with every steering system including slide rack style setups. The part comes machined from high-quality aluminium with a black and silver surface finish making the part stand out.

Exotek B74 aluminium steering optionals

Coming from Exotek and made for the Team Associated B74 4WD buggy are new aluminium steering optionals in the form of HD steering bellcranks and a +4 HD steering rack. Starting with the steering bellcranks, the customised polished black base with blue chamfered accents goes great with any stock plastic or after market blue aluminium parts and the alloy construction ensures precise steering input and heavy duty long lasting performance.

Yeah Racing release new CC02 option parts

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for Tamiya’s popular CC02 chassis line are new stainless steel centre driveshafts as well as front, rear and centre skid plates. Starting with the heavy-duty front and rear centre driveshafts, the set is a direct replacement for the standard plastic items and using them will greatly reinforce the stressed centre drivetrain for greater durability on the trail. The telescopic driveshafts are black coated for wear and looks and they come including mounting hardware.

Yokomo YZ-2 CAL3/DTM3 graphite rear shock tower

Yokomo have announced the release of their new multi-hole graphite rear shock tower that was specially designed for the YZ-2CAL3/DTM3 line of cars. Instead of just three mounting positions, as found on the standard version, the updated tower allows for a total of five mounting positions to help fine tune the set-up in all conditions. Another feature is that there are now two adjustable height mounting positions for the rear wing to fine-tune the aerodynamics. The shock tower is machined from high-grade 4mm carbon fibre and it will hit stores very soon.

Fenix G56-VLink 235 standard LiPo conversion kit

Fenix have released a standard size LiPo conversion kit for their G56-VLink 235mm Pro10 pan car kit. The set allows to use standard-sized LiPo battery packs in order to change the weight balance further towards the rear which helps with traction in lower grip conditions. The set includes a new lower pod plate as well as two upper chassis plates that also utilise the possibility to run a rubber O-ring as the battery retainer. Also new is a carbon fibre 30mm fan mount that was designed to be fixed to the rear shock mounting plate.
