Coming from Lit R/C Products are their new carbon fibre shock towers for the Tekno RC NB48 2.0 buggy. The towers are machined out of matte 3k twill carbon in 5mm thickness and they match the stock shock position geometry, however the front tower offers additional camber link positions and they are of a thicker and stronger outer profile to be more durable. Awesomatix 1/12th scale pan car – Teaser image

Last week we brought you a first image of what was believed to depict Awesomatix’s step into competitive 1/12th scale pan car racing and now things seem to materialise even more. Awesomatix team manager Max Mächler shared an image of his ride for the forthcoming IFMAR 1/12th scale World Championships in the UK – sans electronics but with wheels on, showing the extreme low centre of gravity design of the prototype chassis. No official details are available as of now but with the Worlds kicking off later this week official information and more images shouldn’t be too far off on the horizon.

Tamiya TRF420 toe control rear suspension set

Tamiya have announced the soon release of their toe control rear suspension set for the TRF420 competition touring car. The set replaces the standard rear hubs for an adjustable construction that reactively controls the rear wheel toe depending on the suspension movement, allowing to run less toe on the straights for increased top speed while added toe at the corner apex and exit can increase overall stability. The amount of toe change is adjustable using different amounts of shims under the rear hub plates or by attaching the rear hub plates in an upper or lower position. The set includes the aluminium rear hub assemblies, carbon fibre hub plates as well as aluminium turnbuckles and hardware.

STRC Enduro alloy shock towers & rear bumper mount

ST Racing Concepts have announced the release of new front and rear aluminium shock towers as well as a rear aluminium bumper mount for the Element RC Enduro trail trucks. Starting with the shock towers, the CNC-machined alloy parts help to improve the rigidity and strength of the popular rig. The front shock tower features a complete one-piece design that incorporates the Panhard mounting point, eliminating unwanted flex in this area to allow the suspension to articulate and function the way it was designed to do. As for the CNC machined aluminium rear bumper mount, the parts adds strength the rear end of the chassis rails and adds great looks to the truck. All products are available in a range of anodising colours to help creating an individual look.

T-Works introduce new NB48 2.0 optionals

Coming from T-Works and made for the Tekno NB48 2.0 buggy are new aluminium optionals in the form of a +5mm shock standoff and a diff cross pin set. Starting with the standoffs, the shock mounts are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and they are of a +5mm design, meaning the shock are attached more laid back which can optimise the suspension action in certain conditions. To improve durability the parts come with a hard surface coating and also included is gold-colour mounting hardware. Also new is a 6-piece set of hard-coated 7075-T6 aluminium differential cross pins. Designed to be a direct replacement for the standard pins the alloy parts remove rotational masses from the drivetrain for quicker spool-up and acceleration. While being available as a full set, the pins are also available as pairs for single diff units.
