Mon-Tech tease new 190mm high downforce TC body

Mon-Tech Racing from Italy have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming new 190mm high downforce touring car body shell. Developed over the recent months with input of Mon-Tech’s world wide Pro racing team, the body will be the latest addition to the ever growing range of new aggressively-shaped high-performance touring car lids. The official presentation of the body is only days away with shipping of the first batch being scheduled for the early days of 2020.

JConcepts YZ-2 series titanium turnbuckles

JConcepts have introduced their Fin titanium turnbuckle sets for the Yokomo YZ-2 DTM 3.0 and CAL3 2WD buggies. The base of the design is centred around a .143” titanium hex size which gradually tapers down into a 3mm thread base design which accepts the standard Yokomo ball-cup configuration. The focus of the styling surrounds the lengthened adjustment hex area and the “finned” cuts that rotate about the centre. The turnbuckles are lightweight, and the original “Fin” design brings out the glamour and quality that makes titanium one of the most sought-after exotic materials in the world. The JConcepts turnbuckles are produced with left- and right-hand threads with the left being conveniently marked for easy orientation. The sets, that are available for the DTM 3.0 and CAL3, also have another feature, a black colouring which gives the stealthiest look in the pits and on the track.

Roche P12 Evo World’s Limited Edition Conversion Kit

Coming from Roche and made for their World Championship winning Rapide P12 1/12th pan car platform is the World’s Limited Edition Conversion Kit. Developed with the forthcoming 2020 IFMAR Worlds in mind, the set includes the optional aluminium motor mount set designed by UK factory driver Ollie Payne. The new design motor mount is not only much stronger but also lighter and it offers a lower centre of gravity, meaning the car carries much more corner speed and it is easier to drive in high traction conditions. Also includes in the aluminium lower pod set. The new lower pod plates amend the weight balancing when running a solid axle, offering easier acceleration and constant driving feeling. The new “sliding” pivot block and pivot ball mount made by Derlin and 7075 aluminium are more reliable, whilst also creating more traction, again making for a more consistent and easy to drive car.

Tamiya C2 24mm belted touring car tyre

Tamiya have introduced their new 24mm C2 compound touring car tyre for 1/10th scale cars. The tyre was developed for carpet surfaces where it will provide good grip while the inner fibre belt ensures reliable performance for both stock and modified class racing. The tyre comes in pairs and it fits most 24mm wide 1/10th touring car rims.

Lit R/C Products 8ight-X +10mm alloy wing mount

Lit R/C Products have announced the release of their new +10 adjustable wing mounts for the TLR 8ight-X series of buggies. Developed to raise the rear wing by 10mm compared to the standard position, the shim will improve overall downforce while also allowing to shift the wing forth and back to further fine-tune the buggy’s aerodynamics. The wing raiser comes machined from lightweight aluminium and features a black surface coating for wear and looks.

XactRC Traction Juice Bottles

Coming from XactRC are their new traction compound bottles that can be filled with your choice of traction juice. The ergonomics of the 4oz bottle is just the right size for small or large hands and the translucent material allows for easy checking of how much sauce is remaining, its cleanliness or type of solution. The bottle is available with two replaceable tips. First is the replaceable brush tip that is specifically designed for off-road use. With the brush tip, drovers no longer have to use both a sauce bottle to apply then use a separate brush to apply. This is ideal for those who are tired of having their hands dirty from different tyre sauces and chemicals. Second is the replaceable sponge tip that is ideal for on-road racers, or anyone using slicks or very low pin tyres. The triangle shape of the sponge allows for applying the sauce in a controlled manner and in a straight line on the tyre and not the sidewalls. The tips are also available separately.

Coming from Infinity are their new label decals that help to mark storage boxes for easier identification of their content. Coming as 40x24mm and 40x8mm variants, the labels sport the Infinity logo and they come a set of eight stickers each.

WellRC WellCut wheel arch templates

Coming from WellRC are the WellCut wheel arch cutting templates for 1/10th and 1/8th scale vehicles. Available as 62mm and 64mm variants for the front and rear of nitro touring cars and also as 65mm electric touring and 99mm 1/8th GT variants, the cutting templates help to create perfect wheel wells. The templates are positioned on the outside of the body shell and the cutting line is marked using a sharpie marker. The result are perfectly round wheel wells of just the right size.
