Tamiya TRF420 brass suspension mounts

Tamiya have announced the soon release of their new brass suspension mounts for the TRF420 touring car. Available as 1-piece or 2-piece split A, E and XB variants, the brass mounts replace the standard and optional alloy suspension hangers, with the 1-piece mounts weighing in at 9.3g to 11.1g while the split mounts weigh in at 6.5g to 7.6g, depending on the variant. Adding weight in the front or rear of the car can help to fine-tune the weight balance and thus the car behaviour going in and coming out of the corner. Included with each suspension mount comes a set of suitable composite inserts to adjust toe, roll centre, and kick-up.

Exotek D819 2-colour aluminium optionals

Exotek have introduced their new line of 2-colour aluminium option parts for the HB Racing D819 and E819 buggies. First up is a ball-raced heavy-duty steering crank set machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium. Usable for the HB Racing D819, E819, D817, and E817 series of buggies and trucks the steering set includes bearings and crush sleeves to convert the vehicle’s steering to be bushing free for long wear and less slop. The aluminium parts come polished and anodised in black with custom orange chamfers. Also new is a heavy-duty 7075 machined alloy steering brace plate for the D819, E819, D817, and E817 series of buggies and trucks. The plate adds visual impact and it comes anodised black with orange edge details. Last but not least is a factory style heavy-duty 7075 alloy centre bulkhead set for the electric E819 and E817 series of buggies and trucks. The alloy construction maintains proper gear mesh for longer gear life and reduces the chance of stripped screws coming loose in a race. Like the other parts the bulkheads come black anodised and with orange edge details.
