Protoform X-15 1/8th on-road body shell

New from Protoform and made for the demanding 1/8th IC Track class is the all-new X-15 body shell. The last four 1/8th IC On-Road IFMAR Worlds Championship winners have relied on Protofornm to finish on the top step of the podium. In their quest for a 5th straight, PF have developed the X-15 race body. The “X-15” name is legendary and carries with it an enduring reputation of innovation, sheer speed and record setting performance. The new body style has been exhaustively tested by Protoform’s world-class team of drivers and has proven to be a step forward in predictable handling and lower lap times. Many unique shapes and proportions have been developed during its evolution process including streamlined cockpit and never-before-seen shrouding around the engine area. These features are sure to make the body stand out at the track. The X-15 is Global Body Spec compliant and ROAR approved. Made in the USA from high-quality, super-durable polycarbonate, it is available in both Pro-Lite and Light Weight. Included with the body are universal stiffeners with hardware, a stylish decal sheet, and overspray film complete the package.

Protoform Turismo 190mm touring car body shell

Following a couple of teasers Protoform have introduced their all-new Turismo body shell. Electric touring car racing has undergone yet another evolution since the multi-national championship-winning Type-S was released in 2017. Catering to the demands of racers needing ultra high-downforce, super low-CG aerodynamic body shells, Protoform is proud to release its latest contender for 190mm touring car racing: the Turismo. Designed and produced using the latest in 3D CAD and 5-axis milling technology, the Turismo is packed with new features for performance on track and ease-of-mounting while preparing to dominate the competition. The aerodynamic features include a radical high-downforce design with lowered nose and trunk sections, a cab-forward layout with extended A-pillar ribs for precise turn-in steering, and an extended decklid length with spoiler lip for massive rear grip. The rear wing posts moved outwards for increased stiffness and anti-tuck protection while the rear decklid stiffening ribs tie directly into the wing posts to reduce rear body flex. Sculpted side door panels make for increased stiffness and side bite.

Fenix Classic Team Lotus 49 body shell

Fenix have introduced the new Classic Team Lotus 49 body shell for their Classique formula pan car kit. A replica of the iconic Lotus 49, the fully licensed body shell is of a multi-piece design in order to create a race-worthy yet scale replica of the legendary Lotus F1 car. Included comes a detailed decal sheet that helps to recreate the 1967 and 1968 season cars and the body is available separately to as part of the Classique kit line up.

Infinity IF11 aluminium camber bushings

Infinity has released two new aluminium camber bushings for their ETS race-winning IF11 Formula chassis. Supplied as a four piece set, the bushings are precision machined from extremely strong 7075-T6 aluminium. Available as a 1-dot or 2-dot option, the camber adjustment eccentric bushings can be used to adjust the camber angle at 1 degree or 1.5 degrees using the 1 dot while the 2 dot gives 0.5 degree or 2 degrees.

Yeah Racing WR02/GF01 alloy front bumper kit

Yeah Racing have announced the release of an aluminium skid front bumper for the Tamiya WR02, WR02CB and GF01 kits. The alloy construction will offer improved protection for the front of the chassis and the front suspension, while adding visual impact at the same time. The set is available on black or silver colour and it is a direct fit.

T-Works Kyosho 1/8th scale pipe mount set

T-Works have introduced an exhaust pipe set for Kyosho’s MP10 and MP9 off-road as well as GT3 and GT2 on-road kits. The set includes a machined aluminium pipe spring mount as well as gold colour mounting hardware and a heavy duty exhaust mount spring and it helps to create a stylish yet secure and reliable fixing point for standard and optional exhaust pipes.

Bezerk introduce new B74 carbon fibre optionals

Bezerk from Australia have announced the release of new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated B74 buggy. First up is an Extra camber link front shock tower that features both the kit geometry inner camber link positions but also an additional outer row to allow a shorter front camber link. Also available is a Mid camber link shock tower whose camber link positions are in between the kit inner position and the outer holes on the Extra tower. Both shock stays utilise the standard upper shock mounting positions and they are available in 4.0mm and 5.0mm thick variants.

Muchmore Hybrid Touch AC/DC balance charger

Coming from Muchmore is their new Hybrid Touch AC/DC balance charger and discharger. The device features several updates compared to the previous unit such as an enhanced cell voltage balancing system and an improved durability internal power supply. Also new is the improved and orange back-lit touch screen for better visibility as well as the anti-static feature circuit board design. Other features include dual IC-controlled cooling fans, 10-memory slots for storing different charger settings, as well as a 5V/2.1A USB port.
