HiroFactory ‘PF24’ 1:10 Formula Body

Japan’s HiroFactory has released a new 1:10 Formula body, the PF24. The body comes with a Halo that has been molded into the top of the cockpit so that you can enjoy the look of a modern Formula car. A nose stiffener is also included for attaching to the front nose, which tends to spread out, maintaining a sleek nose shape. Not just about aesthetic, the driving performance of the PF24 is high-performance providing smooth handling and cornering without feeling of stalling. Made of lightweight 0.5mm polycarbonate, the body comes clear with an outer protective film for painting.

Xray X4 Medium Composite Hub

Xray is offering a new medium composite hub for its X4 1:10 Electric Touring Car platform. The medium composite is softer than Graphite material and thus generates more mechanical grip on the car and improves side traction. Recommended for low traction asphalt tracks and very-low grip carpet tracks. The hubs allow full adjustability of the axle height to adapt the car to every condition. The aluminium front steering plates and rear ARS plates are easily mounted depending on the hub’s location. The design of the hub is universal with the same part used at all four corners with corresponding extensions.

Stanley joins ARC Factory Team

ARC has announced that young Australian onroad racer Brayden Stanley has joined its factory team. A multiple 1:10 Nitro Touring Car Australian and State Champion, and a finalist at the 2022 IFMAR World Championship in Thailand, Stanley has also been racing extensively in electric touring cars for the past few years. Debuting the A10-25 electric touring car at the recent PDNR Winter Champs, he took TQ and overall win in the highly competitive Modified Class. As part of the deal, the former Infinity driver will also now race in the 1:8 Onroad category. Commenting on the move to ARC, Stanley said, “In my initial test with the A10-25, I was immediately impressed with its quality and speed straight out of the box. I want to thank Jones from ARC and Vincent from Smokem for welcoming me into the ARC team. I am also super excited to start racing 1/8th nitro with the ARC R8.4 LCG, as it’s a class I’ve been aspiring to race in since my early nitro days!”.

RC Maker SP1 Touring Car production parts image

It’s a car that has been generating a lot of interest in Electric Touring Car circles and now RC Maker has published the first official photo of some of the production parts that will make up the new SP1 1:10 Touring Car kit. On its Facebook page, RC Maker gave an update with the image saying, ‘We’re inching closer to the release of our brand new SP1 Touring Car and SP1-F FWD! We will be presenting both cars on the 1st of August 2024, and at the same time we will open up Pre-Orders both directly and through our global distributor network! We will provide an estimated global release/shipping date when both cars are presented on the 1st of August! Until then, enjoy a peek at some production parts…’ A passion project of international racer Ryan Maker, who is behind the well known Australian carbon fibre parts and accessories producer RC Maker, he added on his own social media, ‘It’s hard to contain my excitement having all the production parts coming together!! Many revisions, prototypes, samples and tolerance adjustments. Leaving no stone unturned in making the SP1 and SP1-F the absolute best cars I can. I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved so far. It’s taken longer than I expected, because being my first ever car, there has been a lot of learning that’s had to happen!
