Pro-Spec have released two new battery balance weights in 54g and 37g specification. The 54g weight measures 138.5×46.5x1mm and thus it is ideal for all cars using standard-size LiPo packs while the smaller 37g weight measures 95.5×46.5x1mm, ideal for all cars, buggies and trucks using shorty-type batteries. The weights come machined from high-quality brass material, they sport a natural finish and engraved ProSpec logos. Pro-Spec introduce new brushless speed controller

Pro-Spec introduce new brushless speed controller

Japanese company Pro-Spec have introduced their new brushless speed controller, developed in cooperation with ORCA. Currently still in prototype stages, also sporting the original ORCA case, the internals are redesigned to offer a smoother power band without sacrificing punch when needed. Also the brake software was renewed, again to smooth out the reactions on brake input but like the throttle characteristics the brake output can be sharpened when conditions call for it. The final ESC may come with an updated case design and we bring you more information on the project once they become available.

Pro-Spec have announced the signing of IFMAR World Champion and EFRA European Champion, Alexander Hagberg to their team. The Swede will use the company’s products and accessories such as chargers, power supplies, fans, wires and more in 2016 and he has the following to say about the deal:

I want to send out a big thank you to Mr. Kenji Hosoda for supporting my extensive racing program in 2016! It seemed as a no brainer to join this brand, considering the high quality of these Japanese products. Since Pro-Spec is the Japanese distributor for ORCA, it had an impact on my decision as well. I will be using many items from the Pro-Spec product line up such as chargers, power supply, fans, bottles, wires, weights and more!
