Capricorn C803 +1mm rear shock bodies & shafts

Coming from Capricorn and made for the C803 on-road car are the +1mm shock bodies and shock shafts. Adding a millimetre of length to both the bodies and shafts will allow the shock piston to sit at an optimised position within the shock body which results in improved forward traction and bump handling. The bodies come anodised black for wear and looks while the shock shafts received a TiNi coating for improved wear and reduced friction.

HRC Racing scale-type Modified air intake mesh

HRC Distrobution have introduced the new HRC Racing scale-type Modified air intake mesh for 1/8th and 1/10th scale body shells. Available in eleven different designs the mesh is made from black colour stainless steel and each sheet measures 100x100mm. It can be used to detail body shells, create additional protection against rocks and stones when used to cover larger body shell air intakes and it will also do as stencil when airbrushing body shells.

Arrowmax 1/10th off-road car stand

Arrowmax have introduced their new off-road car stand dedicated for all 1/10th vehicles. Utilising the company’s signature honeycomb design the car stand is constructed from black and gold anodised aluminium and high-quality carbon fibre and beside holding the car during building, maintenance and setup, it also incorporates milled holes to take the car’s shock absorbers during filling them with shock fluid. The car stand measures 163x107x55mm and it is available now.

Samix SCX10 II brass driveshaft caps

Coming from Samix and made for the Axial SCX10 II trail truck are brass driveshaft caps. Weighing in at 21g for a set of four, the caps add weight to the lower part of the chassis for improved climb performance with the black and golden finish also adding visual impact. The parts are a direct replacement for the plastic caps of the standard SCX10 II kit and they come in sets of four.

Maclan Racing MMax Pico 100A stock racing ESC

Coming from Maclan Racing is the new MMax Pico 100A stock racing brushless speed controller. Looking similar to the MMax Pro the Pico is in fact a completely newly designed full aluminium case structure with 13AWG pre-soldered cables and redesigned power capacitor module. The new design reduces weight by 35 percent and sits 3mm lower in height compared to the MMax Pro. The controller adapts the same Microchip PIC32 platform as its big brother for exceptional performance and the ESC also has a redesigned power management control board that enhances durability and power output for extreme stock racing. The package is rounded out by the new B1.0 firmware that provides the best possible throttle and brake control. The speedo will hit stores about mid-September.

BMT 984 Evo2 aluminium main chassis plate

Coming from BMT is the Evo2 chassis for the 984 1/8th car. Machined from a different alloy material the main plate will increase traction while the updated front section design is meant to improve steering response. The part comes with a natural finish and it is a direct fit on the 984 Evo kit.

Kyosho reveal first Javelin re-release buggy images

Following a first teaser video Kyosho now officially revealed that they are working on a Javelin re-release buggy. The 1/10th scale icon will feature the distinctive roll cage chassis that made the 1980’s buggy famous with the 4WD buggy being based off of the already released Optima buggy. Thus it will sport red anodised small bore shock absorbers, a redesigned rear wing mount, silver rims with knobby high-grip tyres and just like the other re-release kits Kyosho issued so far, the Javelin will rock several improvements over the original version to ensure it will withstand the brute force of modern day motors and batteries.
