Coming from Italian company Capricorn are new Nickel-plated wheel axle shims and a 2.7mm rear swaybar for the C803 on-road car. Starting with the axle shims, the parts are cut from high-grade 7075 aluminium and they underwent a Nickel treatment process to make them highly wear resistant. Also new and made for the C803 is a 2.7mm rear swaybar wire that adds to the already existing range.

Revolution Design Racing Products’ new XB4 and XB2 aluminium wing mounts are a direct fit on Xray’s 1/10th 4WD and 2WD buggies. Machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium and coming anodised for wear and looks the parts replace the standard composite mounts with a more sturdy and cooler looking variant. The mounts come heavily machined in RDRP’s signature finned look while silver edge details further increase visual impact. Included with the mounts comes a carbon fibre wing reinforcement plate that improves the seat of the wing. The wing mount set is usable on all XB4 and XB2 kits and it is available in black or orange colour.
Maxima have released first teaser images of their forthcoming B2X .21 nitro off-road engine. No detailed information are available yet but it is understood that the engine is based on the O.S. Speed B2102 and therefore you can expect a square stroke engine with low-profile cooling head, DLC-coated crankshaft, 3-needle carburettor and more. We bring you more information on the power plant as soon as they surface.

Team Magic have released a set of street style on-road tyre for 1/10th monster trucks such as the E5 and E5HX. Sporting a hard-wearing on-road tread the tyres are mounted on black 6-spoke rims and they come in sets of four. The pre-glued wheels are usable on Team Magic’s own E5-series trucks and also select other 1/10th vehicles.

Following a first teaser image Mugen Seiki have released more information on their forthcoming MTC1 1/10th 4WD electric touring car kit. The company’s first electric on-road kit was developed for more than a year and it features a class-standard dual belt drive train, an “intelligent” caster adjustment system, zero tweak flex system, adjustable body positioning, ultra low profile big bore shocks, front double joint drive shafts, hard coated aluminium rear drive shafts, low friction pulleys, ball raced sway bars, one piece motor mount, fully adjustable narrow steering system, aerodynamic front bumper, and a fully adjustable suspension in terms of camber, toe, caster, wheelbase, track width, roll centre, diff/spool height, and steering angle. No additional images are available yet but as the car looks pretty much production ready the official presentation shouldn’t be too far away. Avid have introduced a set of titanium FastTune shock standoffs for Xray’s XB2 and XB4 line of 1/10th off-road kits. The FastTune feature allows to use a common 1.5mm Allen wrench to prevent the standoff from spinning while using a 5.5mm socket wrench on the other side, doing away with the need to use a 7.0mm nut driver or 7.0mm open-ended socket wrench to hold the standoff. The parts also scrub a certain amount of weight as each weighs in at about 1.25g. The set includes four standoffs that come in a reusable doodad container.

Coming from JConcepts and made for Team Associated’s B64 line of 1/10th 4WD buggies is the new F2 body shell. Designed with aspects learned from the original Finnisher bodies, the F2 provides an even more aggressive look with included details which remain crucial to performance. An increased windshield angle provides a steady force upfront during mid-flight wind gusts on large jumps while the forward cab placement changes performance/visible bias which helps steering rotation in low traction corners. The side-pods have been simplified and chamfered to remove unwanted changes in height to neutralise the at-speed handling. The rear of the pods have a dual step, scoop treatment which give a first in class look to the F2 body. The rear of the cab has the Finnisher step feature which allows the placement of a secondary side window and also several louver options off the rear. In addition to the newly designed body, JConcepts has included two of the latest Aero rear wings. The body also includes window masks and a decal sheet and it is a drop fit for both the B64 and B64D.
Coming soon from Serpent is the SRX8E 1/8th scale electric buggy kit. Based off of the Cobra SRX8 nitro buggy, the electric powered variant makes use the front and rear suspension components of its nitro sibling, it comes with 7075-T6 alloy C-hubs, steering blocks, uprights, and shock towers for durability while the 4mm alloy chassis allows to utilise the commonly used brick-type 4S LiPo battery layout but also an optional split-type dual 2S LiPo setup. The main chassis plate is of a very sturdy design with pockets for the drivetrain and electrical components, resulting in a low centre of gravity and thus increased corner speed.
