Schelle B6 0.5mm carbon bulkhead shims

Schelle Racing Innovations have introduced a set of 0.5mm carbon fibre bulkhead shims for the Team Associated B6 buggy. They allow to shimming the front bulkhead, and thus the inner pivot, lower to the ground to give extra steering in tight turns. US midwest and Australia outdoor racers swear by this setup on a B6D and the set includes two US-made 0.5mm shims that can be stacked up to get up to 1.0mm lower front pins.

Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 AWD Ford GT RTR kit

Traxxas have announced the soon release of their all-new 4-Tec 2.0 Ford GT ready-to-run touring car kit. Taking the proven 4-Tec name to the next level the shaft-driven 4WD chassis is of a modular design, making maintaining and tuning a breeze. The wide tub chassis allows for massive space for the sealed receiver box, waterproof motor, speed controller, steering servo and battery while rigid suspension parts with pre-set geometry make the best out of the semi-slick high-grip tyres. The sealed, hardened steel bevel limited slip differentials allow the use of high-performance option motors with the kit coming with a standard 550-size 12T brushed variant. Included in the ready-to-run package is also a TQi 2.4GHz radio system and a Traxxas 7-cell NiMH battery. The kit is rounded out by an officially licenced Ford GT bodyshell and it will hit stores in March.

Tamiya re-release more former re-releases

Tamiya let the good old times roll with more re-releases of already re-issued 1980’s kits as the Japanese company is set for a, from what is understood, limited and probably JDM-only re-release of the 2008 Boomerang, the 2011 Avante and the Novafox. The kits are meant to hit Japanese stores at the beginning of March but as they are not officially mentioned in Tamiya’s March release list and they are also not on show as re-issued items during this week’s Nuremberg Toy Fair, the “RC Special Items” declared kits may indeed not make an official return. Nevertheless they are soon up for grabs for everyone that wishes to complete his 1980’s icon collection.
