RC Concept sensor cables & silicone wires

French company RC Concept have new accessories available in the form of sensor cables, silicone wires and 4mm connectors. Starting with the sensor cables, they are available in six different sizes including 50mm, 100mm, 150mm, 200mm, 250mm and 300mm all of which come in all-black colour for looks and mesh covered for best possible protection. Also new is 12AWG and 14AWG silicone wire in black, red or white colour. The highly flexible wire comes in packs of 1 metre. Last but not least are 4mm bullet-type connectors. The gold-plated male plugs are of the now-standard 4-cut type for an increased contact patch and they feature pre-shaped soldering areas, making for neat soldering jobs. The connectors are available in convenient packs of 10 pieces.

Avid aluminium parts trays

New from Avid come aluminium parts tray in three different sizes. The most unique being the 350x40mm which was designed to be placed at the top or sides of a pit area as a more permanent solution. Also available are a 200x100mm and a 150x75mm tray with the 350x40mm and 200x100mm also include two round cavities that hold the included Doodad containers. The black anodised trays sport laser-etched Avid logos and machined silver edges for improved visual impact.

WRC LM16 1/10th pan car kit

WRC LM16 1/10th pan car kit

Italian company WRC have introduced the LM16 1/10th scale pan car kit. Resembling a Le Mans prototype car the vehicle is based off of the company’s F-One formula car kit and it features a newly designed front bumper and body mount, a new rear upper battery and damper mount plate as well as carbon fibre rear body mounts. The dominating part of the kit, the Pro1 called body – including a separate, adjustable rear wing – finishes off the kit and it is also available separately to equip most of today’s formula cars using adapters made by WRC.

Creation Model have released first official images of the forthcoming Infinity 1/8th nitro on-road kit. The Masao Tanaka designed car is ready for release in the Asian area and it will become available in Europe shortly after Chinese New Year, meaning around beginning of March. Xray XB2 aluminium front & rear camber link mounts

New from Xray and made for the XB2 2WD buggies are aluminium camber link mounts. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised the parts increase stability and durability while making for a more precise and more forgiving handling at the same time. The front camber link mount fits both the carpet and dirt edition XB2 while the rear mount is only suitable for the carpet spec car.

HPI Racing Jumpshot MT Fuzion RTR

During last week’s Nuremberg International Toy Fair HPI Racing have introduced the Jumpshot MT Fuzion 1/10th scale 2WD ready-to-run monster truck. Based off of the standard Jumpshot truck the vehicle features a Twin Vertical Chassis design, modular steering and a tough drivetrain to handle the power of the newly-added Fuzion brushless motor and LiPo-ready speed controller. The high-power unit makes for an increased power-to-weight ratio for more acceleration and top speed, equalling in longer jumps, bigger air and more fun. The set is rounded out by a pre-painted bodyshell, grippy all-terrain tyres on silver chrome wheels and a 2.4GHZ radio system.

Tamiya MF-01X aluminium centre driveshafts

Coming soon from Tamiya are three aluminium centre driveshafts for the MF-01X 4WD chassis. The shafts are machined from high-quality aluminium and they come blue anodised and laser-etched for easy identification. They are designed to replace the standard steel shaft and due to the lower rotation mass acceleration and braking are greatly improved. The shafts are available as 173mm shaft for 210mm wheelbase chassis, as 188mm variant for 225mm wheelbase cars and as 203mm shaft for 239mm wheelbase vehicles.

Hot on the heels of the AKA Crosslink 2.2 buggy tyre comes a dedicated 1/10th stadium truck variant. Featuring symmetrical open tread pattern the tyre will break-in quickly while providing exceptional forward traction. This allows to use a more aggressive steering setup without the worry of losing on-power control. The Crosslink has been designed for hard packed or blue groove, indoor and outdoor tracks and it is available in clay, ultra soft and super soft compounds as tyres with Red inserts.
